At this level he is the worst manager I've ever seen. He has a squad full of superstars and it is clear he has no clue about tactics and in-game management.

He's not an elite level manager. He's not a winner. It's as simple as that
This annoys me so much! It shouldnt be allowed to have a foreign manager for a national side! What does it say about your country if you cannot find a manager to lead your team? Its not like we are Saudi Arabia or Albania and even in those circumstances I believe you should have a manager from the same country. But for England to have foreign manager, regardless of the fact it never worked in the past, at the point in time we are at now we should have an English manager. Foreign managers simply do not care enough and rightly so, the FA are a joke if we didnt already know that!

People dont get tournament football, no game is easy, romania just smashed ukraine, netherlands, france and italy all had 1 goal wins. Serbia are a physical team and it showed the lack of physicality that England have in midfield. In the big games where has foden, rice, kane, Bellingham etc been? None existent its alright saying england are so good but rice got dominated in the champions league by porto and bayern.

I would play Wharton as holding midfielder, but it doesn't matter. Rice could get forward and help the attacking possibilities.

Southgate needs to recognise what best serves the team. That's not Trent or Foden. Foden has played left and in the middle for England and just doesn't bring it. Trent is not a midfielder. Need penetration down the left.

I have measured my blood pressure when watching England protecting a 1-0 lead, and it goes up significantly. There needs to be health warning when you become an England supporter. We will see if Southgate has learnt anything, if and when England come up against a really good team in the knockout phase.
