I love it. I use an eye cream 1st. Then 3 pinpoint dots under each eye, then press and tap in. This corrector spreads like crazy. I use a tiny concealer brush to get precise placement, then use the BK concealer brush to press in. Don't know if you used an eye cream 1st , but do use one and let it absorb before applying the corrector and use HALF or a THIRD amount that you used in this video.
Hi I’m a newbie. I’m almost 77 & my go to for years has been the higher end one. Colorescience 3-In-1 renewal therapy spf35. But it’s $$$79 I decided to try this one you demonstrated today. Just ordered it off an instagram add. It’s on sale from $44 to 35. I’m excited to try it. Obviously I’ve been around the skincare/ makeup world for a minute. 😊 here is what I do. And I’m a lot older. I always of course use my skin care first. Then b4 makeup I prime with “Bobbie brown enriched face base”. It’s not cheap, but I’m also retired. So it lasts forever. (don’t wear makeup daily) I not only use it on my face, I use it very sparingly, around both eyes. Under/top. Wait about 10 minutes then use my total eye. If I’m very careful & apply as directed I’m usually lucky for it to not settle. And I do not powder. That’s a NO! NO! For aging eyes IMO. If ppl are interested, I just watched a video by dr. Dray. The dermatologist. Where she tests the colorescience VS the DRMTLGY one. Oh & BTW I don’t use a concealer with it normally. It’s plenty bc it’s a color corrector. Bc for aging skin the more you layer the more you crease. Thank you for doing a fantastic job on the usage of both colors. You looked beautiful ‼️❣️and honestly for everyday I don’t think you actually need to add a concealer.
Love that your review is so honest its one the most honest reviews on a product i have seen, it has helped me to decide if i want it considering the pros and cons. So thank you so much 🙏🏼🙂
To keep it from settling at least for most of the day, use less than half a pump for both eyes total! A few dots under the eye, quick streak and let settle for 20-30 sec, then tap to blend out! I swear it works so well. I’m glad you like it though!!
I bought this product and I really love it. I was warned to take only a small amount at at time. I mix my corrector and this together and it works perfectly.
Thank you for trying this. I was so curious about this and almost bought it. Can you give us an update how concealer looks on top? I wonder if it gives enough color correction for dark circles.
It works great on my extremely dry, crinkly under eyes with very dark circles. I start with almond oil (tip from Sharalee’s Box of Chocolates), then I’m combining Drmlgty Luminous Eye Corrector with the new Huda Beauty FAUXFILTER Color Corrector in the shade Cherry Blossom. A little goes a long way! I don’t even have to use a concealer on top. I just place a little dusting of Lunar Beauty finally milled Lunarversal Setting Powder and it lasts all day without crinkling. I’m also started using a concealer over it before powdering and it works great! I use the Caliray setting spray. I’m constantly on the hunt for a good corrector/concealer and I think I finally found the right combination! God bless everyone!
For me it is the Perfect undereye corrector and i testing a ton of products- from cheap to expensive. I think, every Skin is different. My skin is 44, dry undereyes and fine lines. For me is Medium the Perfect Shade😀❤️
I use the same system or a similar one, but from ColorScience and I can say that the tones are better although it is more expensive. I asked a person in a make-up artist and he told me to always seal that product with loose powder and it fits me well and covers a lot for many hours. I use a mini drop in the morning (9-11 am) until 10 pm with loose translucent powder and it lasts no problem all day. I must say that it is not a cheap product for everyone.
I adore this product. It doesn’t settle into my fine lines. I use their tinted moisturizer and then use this under my eyes. I’m not a big makeup wearer.
For me, if I put on enough to adequately correct and conceal, it creased and settled a lot, but if I went light enough that it didn't crease, it didn't do as good a job as a corrector plus a separate concealer.
I use Charlotte Tilbury light and medium color corrector and the Maybelline pink. But at 71 I still use a light touch of powder. I have Huda, Givenchy and Moira in pink with separate colors and Huda in pound cake. I barely apply and isn’t dry and no lines at all!
I use Banana boat kids waterproof sunscreen spf 50 and I use it to the bottom of the eyes over eyelids and everywhere.. does not sting my eyes! Works great I moisturize with Cera ve first and use that to rub it in in circular motions until it fades into skin.. the perfect primer too! It's a mineral sunscreen
I got it right after it came out, I too was confused about the shades, Medium looked too light and Tan looked a bit too dark, I ended up ordering the Tan shade which is a bit too orangey but anyway, aside from that, I found the product soo freaking drying! 😬 I have dry mature skin so the last thing I want is a drying product 🙅♀️ and then it settles and creases like there's no tomorrow, like you said a little goes a long way (the pump dispenses way too much product) but then I wonder how much sun protection am I really getting with such a small amount of product? 💁♀️ I'd say little to none... very disappointing for being that pricey, I don't recommend, at least not for dry skin ppl 👎
I wonder if you having to blend it throughout the day would be gone, if you put a little setting spray and then a translucent powder. What are your thoughts on doing that? Instead of using more product later in the day, and continuing to dab it in all day long. That sounds a bit exhausting lol
Thanks for sharing this. I’m curious why you didn’t try the dark shade? I’m Latina and I’m pretty dark skinned and I was hoping there was a few reviews with someone using the darkest shade but I can’t find a review w/someone using that particular shade.
I use tinted sunscreen 90% of the time unless I'm going out somewhere fancy at night that calls for foundation. What I've learned over the years is that tinted sunscreen products are not meant to be longwear like actual makeup and they inevitably do crease in fine lines just from nature the of what they are. Usually what I do is apply a base layer of regular sunscreen, apply the tinted one, and then reapply my regular sunscreen throughout the day. It does suck if you're an avid makeup wearer because, with my method at least, this does mean you can't really wear any other face makeup unless you want it to blend into one mess. I'm personally fine with it because I'm used to it, but I can see why this wouldn't be okay with everyone. I know there's methods people use to reapply over makeup, but I don't see that being useful for this product, specifically. This really boils down to whether or not this product is practical in your routine
Thank you for your review! I don’t as considering to buy it as it’s all over my feed on IG, ..and we are twins with the same problems and skin tone. So before I buy any concealer I come to your channel to see how it wears on you. 🙏🏼. You is my hero. I will not buy it . Be blessed beautiful
I’ve been using the medium shade for months and it works wonders for my dark circles. I use very little on each side and tap it with my fingers. I just purchased 2 more 😊. For reference I have very dry under eye skin, I’m almost 50 and every concealer I’ve used cakes up. In my opinion you used way too much of this product, one tiny little dot is enough for each eye.
What eye corrector do you find that is above every other corrector? My dark circles are prominent. Im still searching for the best one for me but I’ll take recommendations.
Thanks for this video!! If it wasn't for it, I would have bought the medium shade instead of the tan... ** Tan would be a better shade on my medium skin...😊 It is pricey but in my opinion, totally worth it due the ingredients in its formula.
I’m trying it today with dabbing on some overnighter setting spray from UD, I’ll lyk if it helps! So far, it hasn’t settle in as much as it did in your video but it’s only been an hour…
I love the Drmtlgy tinted moisturizer, so had high hopes for the Luminous Eye Corrector. I was underwhelmed as it didn’t really correct and it didn’t conceal. I agree - it settled under my eyes, especially in the corners. I’m sixty-five years old, so that’s an issue with most products. My major complaint is that it left the area under my eyes itchy and irritated. I think it’s the sunscreen ingredient. I don’t recommend for the price and limited benefits.
Tan is definitely your color. I was going to tell you this before you even started, but it’s a video so I can’t! This is supposed to correct so it should not actually look like the color of the product. Correctors are meant to cancel. You probably would actually do best with the pink color corrector because you have brown under your eyes. I have brown under my eyes too, although I’m definitely not as dark skinned as you are. My skin tone is medium and cool toned.
Everything settles in lines. It’s completely impossible for it not to. I used the Catrice your eye brightener, and I use Seint color corrector in R03 which is pink and cancels brown. These two work great together, but it’s the only product I can use from Seint. the other products make my skin break out tremendously so I think I’m going to try the Bobby Brown pink color corrector and continue with the eye brighter on top of it. I don’t set this and it looks really good, hydrated and moisturized and I press it really well and it does settle a little bit, but I just press my fingers throughout the day but I never reapply unless I’m going out at night and then I might add a little more brighter.
I like the medium color on you a Little better. I think it hides a little better. I have your same coloring so I was wondering between the two colors. Not I still don’t know.
I got the tan because the medium looked way too light. The tan ended up being way too orangey for my liking and the only way I can use it is to use such a tiny amount and it really does nothing with regards to color correcting. I so wanted to love this but I didn't. It's just an expensive under eye SPF that I likely wont really wear because I need coverage under my eyes. Hard pass for me.
I love it, but I don’t see it as makeup, it’s skincare, the best eye sunscreen that covers up my dark circles. Tan works for me, my undereye is very similar to Sarah’s in darkness but I put on less, which still covers them but avoids the creasing @allbeautybysarah
I wear in in no-makeup days with nothing on top, and can retouch as I go. Now, if I’m doing very light makeup, for just a couple hours I can use with a bit of powder on top and looks fine…but I don’t retouch cos I imagine it’d get messy…Hope that helps!
I love it. I use an eye cream 1st. Then 3 pinpoint dots under each eye, then press and tap in. This corrector spreads like crazy. I use a tiny concealer brush to get precise placement, then use the BK concealer brush to press in. Thank you for trying it out because I keep seeing ads about it and yes to pricey.
They have sales all the time….
Currently its 20% off around $33

Maybe you should do your own video for women with aging skin. I’d appreciate that.
Love that your review is so honest its one the most honest reviews on a product i have seen, it has helped me to decide if i want it considering the pros and cons. So thank you so much 🙏🏼🙂
Thank you so much for trying this. Now I know and yes too expensive for my budget.
Your under eyes look much lighter today with out concealer. What have you been using please? I have good skin but my under eyes very dark.
Another excellent video! I have way more places for this to settle so this is a pass for me.
To keep it from settling at least for most of the day, use less than half a pump for both eyes total! A few dots under the eye, quick streak and let settle for 20-30 sec, then tap to blend out! I swear it works so well. I’m glad you like it though!!
Thank you! I kept seeing the ad too but was holding off because of the cost. I always trust your advice when it comes to correctors and concealers!
I bought this product and I really love it. I was warned to take only a small amount at at time. I mix my corrector and this together and it works perfectly.
Thanks for saving me my money. I was on the fence, so I jumped off the fence and went back inside my house empty handed but with a smile on my face❤
This was an excellent review. I just found your channel because of this product. Now I'm a new subscriber!
Our concealer queen is coming through with the reviews👏🏼👏🏼

Thank you for this video!!!!! The IG ad also had ladies without eye darkness or puffiness. Now, I see why!
For me it is the Perfect undereye corrector and i testing a ton of products- from cheap to expensive. I think, every Skin is different. My skin is 44, dry undereyes and fine lines. For me is Medium the Perfect Shade😀❤️

Thank you so much for the honest review! At 53, I definitely have the fine line thing going on, and I certainly DON'T need to be accenting that fact!
Thank you, I almost pulled the trigger on this about a month ago. Thank goodness I didn't because I have lots more wrinkles than you do!
Thank you Sarah! You always save me money when it comes to new concealers
What eye cream have you been using? Your undereyes are looking good without makeup on❤
I adore this product. It doesn’t settle into my fine lines. I use their tinted moisturizer and then use this under my eyes. I’m not a big makeup wearer.
I like using this corrector/spf but less is more to prevent creasing
Thank you for this great review. I felt it might go in the fine lines, and it did. Saved me a bunch of money! ❤

Please try the New nyx color correctors

Why not add concealer? That doesn’t cover much and she’s young enough to apply powder over the top. My opinion only.
How do I follow what products you use for eyeshadow and lipstick, I really love your choices!
The only thing is, over rubbing it might make the sunscreen less efficient.
She starts applying at 6:05, you’re welcome!
I've been looking for a product like this. I wonder how this would behave if used with an undereye primer or powder

Thank you very much for your honest review. It was very much appreciated.
I think too much was applied which would lead to creasing.
Blessings, please try the new Salt NewYork corrector and concealer, since you are the queen of corrector/concealer.😊

Sarah- Have you tried the one from Colorescience? Is it on par with those?? If so, it’s half the price.

“I always kind of side-eye any product that claims to not settle into fine lines” - Well said!! This was my experience too! Disappointing!
I love the Drmtlgy tinted moisturizer, so had high hopes for the Luminous Eye Corrector. I was underwhelmed as it didn’t really correct and it didn’t conceal. I don’t recommend for the price and limited benefits.
I liked it, for a casual day coverage. But the top no longer attaches securely, and it was only 3 weeks
What is your favorite under eye color corrector?
I tried it. Didn’t work
How does this compare to the color science under eye treatment with spf?
What kind of under eye primer do you use
If you set with powder, does that help?
I bought it 🤦♀️. Maybe I’ll try to set it and hope it stays for the day Clearly it won’t offer protection after a few hours Sunglasses 🕶️

Sadly I got a horrific allergic reaction: swelling, red, itchy, bumps. The company was great though once I notified them.
It is suppose to go all the way around your eye.
My thought is exactly like yours. So… so far im still searching.
I like the medium color on you a Little better. I think it hides a little better. I have your same coloring so I was wondering between the two colors. Not I still don’t know.
I do not like a bright under eye either I always make my under eye match the rest of my face
Im confused- so corrector alone? It doesnt cover dark circles enough - i say meh
