This was the end of the magical golden era of European motocross. Most, if not all of my heroes, would retire by the end of the decade and with the changing of the guard and the trans-ama now called the trans-usa and most of the European legends not showing up anymore it wasn't the same anymore and, with U.S. racers pretty much taking over the magic was gone. Sometimes when your wishes come true is just doesn't seem as fun anymore.....glad I saw and participated the golden era of motocross between 1970 and 1978
Man!!! These guys were total Animals! The talent of these riders is absolutely incredible they’d smoke most riders of today, and yes, on those old bikes too. Much respect to those classic Moto dudes 👍👍
the best time for motocross sport..everybody were keen on motocroos in Europe and USA...the idols Roger de Coster in Europe and Marty smith in USA!..but Roger also in USA!
and who got the crown in 78? its a sport, fucking haters, best rider and World Champion in 77-78 250cc was Gennadiy Moiseev, Soviet Union. keep hating sofariders, its the best that you can do. and btw, in 78, Moiseev won title whit broken hand. thats the real motocross spirit.
Where is this from? And what's with that horrible music? Let the music of the two stroke engines fill my speakers! Falta should have been champ in 1974.

sound would have been nice.
Most cameras in 1978 didn't record sound. I'd rather hear silence.
Great video, awful music...
