Silk is my favorite fabric for traveling, it barely wrinkles and if it does, wrinkles will fall out overnight if hung up, it’s breathable, super-lightweight and takes up little packing space, it doesn’t need frequent washing and dries fast. But the biggest factor is it’s pure comfort, almost year-round. (I do find it a little warm on very hot and humid days). Of course, it’s not for hiking through brushy terrain!

I’ve been eyeing that green sezane dress ever since you first featured it in a vid and I might just bite the bullet. So cute! Also, my capsules tend to lean quite neutral. It was great to see how you chose to incorporate color into yours.
Oh, if you do get it, I hope you love the dress :) My capsules are usually more neutral too but I think the excitement of travelling/warm weather has made me love colour :)
Just been on a holiday to the capital but will go on another trip to the capital again at the end of the month and will definitely impliement a few of these tips alongside the capsule I packed with me last time ^^ I've actually been looking at your older travel outfits (some of which you re-created in your last video but I really love the cooler more monocromatic colours of them) and re-creating those myself and I wore them on my last trip. Also, hearing you talk about that green dress has convinced me that I should pack some dresses next time! I have this new oversized linen shirtdress from Muji that I really love but it is quite oversized and kinda swallows me up a little (it also does look a little too big on me as opposed to just being oversized..), any tips on how I can style it (apart from beling it, the linen is a bit stiff so belting it doesn't create a nice A-line but rather looks like an unflattering V-line :/)?
If it's a shirt dress, I always like to unbutton some of the bottom buttons so it creates a more flowy look. Without going too far, I always like to wear it a bit more open so doing up less of the buttons. But also, if you find the shape not quite right, you can always try wearing it with sleeves rolled up, and open like a light longline jacket :) Thanks for watching xx
I’m curious how you handle doing laundry, while travelling. I’m actually planning to be in Sydney over New Year’s for a week (that’s your home town isn’t it? 👋🙂). Because of various constraints I have a feeling I won’t be able to get out of doing laundry, but even if the hotel offers any laundry facilities, I’m worried the clothes won’t dry very quickly. Also, I won’t be able to bring and iron or a steamer. How do you keep the clothes looking fresh and decent throughout the stay? Any tips much appreciated!🙂

Just packed for a week away. When it's hot I do find dresses easiest so 3 dresses 1 skirt, 3 tops, 1 shirt, 1 cardigan, 3 sandals, 2 bags. If I I wear the dresses twice and tops once I will still have more outfits than days. I will wear the skirt, top, sandals and cardigan with a bag to travel so will only need to pack 9 items. Maybe I should take some loose trousers just in case.

I may be worth washing, tumble drying and ironing it's it may reduce the stiffness.
