Even considering all of the concepts proposed by people like Epicodey999, who came up with ideas like Sombrero Build, Creepy Mario Statue (from SMG4), Mayro.exe, Charged Striker Mario, Baby Hunch Mario, and three different joke versions of MX (Pibby MX, MX in the Backrooms, and Slowrunner MX)... this is somehow the concept that is the most outlandish for the whole mod, but still manages to be reasonable.

We only know seven (eight if you count Lumpy Boyfriend) characters that were scrapped, but there's also the concepts that weren't meant for the mod (April Fool's jokes or otherwise) and plenty of concepts that haven't been confirmed to have been considered beyond their concepts as shown in that old Mario's Madness V2 Leaks video. On the other hand, a handful of these concepts are being done in other mods. Most notably Nightmare of the Mushroom Kingdom, which has both Ink Bowser and SMG4 Mario planned for the mod as of now, as well as Coolrash Mario.exe teamed up with Coolrash Luigi.exe, the former having been conceptualized by Marco for fun.
