Great review. I do have a question about 3000 watt inverters run from a 24 volt system. Am I right in thinking smaller gauge wire is permissible? In other words, if that had been a 24 volt inverter, would those 4awg cables be fine??
i just bought a renogy 700 watt inverter with 1400 surge, and a dr. prepare battery. i was so excited to hook it up but now i learned i need a fuse. any recommendations for a fuse?
@@Vankookz a full size refrigerator, maybe also a tv if one battery capacity is enough with a 100watt panel. i may add another battery so maybe the 200amp is a good idea for future proof. i guess what im asking is does it matter if i dont need a 200amp breaker, no harm done even if i use it for one 100ah battery?
You guys are absolutely amazing
Always great information 👍
Thanks 🙏

Anywhere from 80 to 100 I like to use these breakers rather than fuses because then you don't need to replace the fuse if it trips. amzn.to/3QB7dWP
You actually may want a higher fuse if you think you will ever use the surge maybe around 175 now that I think about it.
@@Vankookz theres a 200a option in the link you provided. would that be too high?
What are you planning on powering with it? Will you actually utilize the 1400 surge?
