For knits to run you will need a computer on the higher end of our recommended specs sheet support.clo3d.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000307168-CLO-system-requirements-June-2024
Have you checked your Computer specs to make sure that they meet the CLO requirements? support.clo3d.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000307168-CLO-system-requirements-June-2024
Hi. As long as the avatar is not recognizable as o e of the Standard CLO avatars then yes it can be used. If you are an Enterprise Client and have further questions we recommend reaching out to your CLO representative directly
Hi. You can find a list of recommended specs on our website that is regularly updated. support.clo3d.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000307168-CLO-system-requirements-June-2024
We don't recommend specific models. But the CLO team does use high spec gaming PCs. As long as what you buy in within or better than the specs linked you will be good to go.
as i have read in the comments you can't export it out, very sad, i hope in the future you're able to export it out for a highpoly mesh, would be even better if there was a low poly solid version that had the rib parts extruded out per example
I don't know when I use Knitwear and turn on Quality Render, but the visual in 3D window does not change. It looks like when I turn off Quality Render
Quality Render only changes the lighting in the scene.
Thank you for the video this update will really help to my works.
Glad it helped
What happen if I export to 3D model. Will it be very high poly? Can I bake the knitwear into UV?
Hi. The Knitwear like Fur is Render only. So it cannot be exported
Can you add plaiting to the rib so the knit stitches are different colors than the purl?
I tried faking it with a vertical stripe texture map over the rib stitch but if there's a better way would love to know, same for horizontal stripes
Not yet. But the feature will definitely keep growing
so in my try rib 1x1 gave me melange is there a way to change thread color direction to stripy like you do ?
You can change the direction of the Knit in the Knit Fabrics Property Editor
@@CLO3D yes but it doesnt help about stripy coloring like 13:16
Can we do this on marvelous and export?
Currently this is only in 3D and it cannot be exported from CLO yet
It’s super detailed can we have something similar for woven garments as well
There are already many detailed woven fabric available in the CLO library. and you can also make your own and add custom Maps for even more detail
What settings to use when rendering a knit. Anything special? My system keeps crashing.

is it possible to export the knitwear as mesh?
No. Currently the knitwear is usable in CLO only
@@CLO3D is there any software which allows to export 3d digital designed knitwear to physical flat knit patterns ?
As soon as I change my material type to 'knitwear' it goes invisable in the 3D window 🤔

Is there anyway for me to create a crochet effect with this, like by using masks or something?
You can adjust the Type and Gauge for different effects. Otherwise you can instead use regular material and add your own unique custom crochet maps
This slows my computer down a lot what is best laptop or computer to prevent this?

@@CLO3D not very helpful but I will figure it out myself

We will give your feedback to our Dev team. Many people do use Displacement Maps for Rib which work very well
