Just landed my first trick ever today and for the first time it felt like I was actually flying. Seriously this channel is such a help and inspiration. I recommend to anyone who wants to do this. Thanks Hans Wouters
I got my first longbard yesterday, switched out the bearings, loosened the trucks, and admired it for hours. after school today, I went to the park and learned how to ride pretty quickly because of my penny board experience albeit small. i managed to do a fs 180 pivot, and now I'm working on bs. i always spin either too far or too short, and if I get the spin right I lose balance lmao. i know no one asked but I'm excited to skate some more tmr
Can i just say thank you. I would never have started freestyle and dancing if i had never come across your videos! almost 3 years down the line and i'm shredding and putting combo's together like it's nothing! I can't say it's been an easy trip, many falls (some horrible ones too) but with determination and your videos i did it! I respect your raging need to share your passion. Shred hard and stay safe!
I just got a longboard 2 days ago, the timing is impeccable. I'm really loving it too its so much fun and all I think about is the next time I'm gonna step on my board!!😭😭
Thanks to your videos, 6 months ago I picked up my longboard again only knowing how to carve. Today I enjoyed the flow-y feel of a backwards Peter Pan, pivots and various steps. My absolute favorite way to enjoy my city in quarantine. Thanks Hans, looking forward to getting better!
I know the longboard dancers praise Lotfi as the best dancer in the world (and in all seriousness he's mindblowing) but my personal favorite dancer-athlete is Hans. I would really love to have an autograph.
I am in my early forties and want to give snowboard a try this coming winter season - have been skier all my life. I was suggested to give longboard a try before the season since winter is still few months away. I watched your video on what you wished you knew as a beginner, that video helped me not repeat same beginners mistakes. I am surprisingly learning fast and ready to try some new tricks and this video is perfect for that. I must also say that I really find you to be really funny and a great human being. You have great perspective to life and in general that you share as tidbits, which I find quite interesting.
Thanx for this video and all the effort you made visualizing it. I just started longboarding this year with the age of 42 and you really inspired me. Just before the first snow, I was able to land my first Ghostrides. Just amazing.
thanks a lot for appreciating the efforts! Well, lots of respect to you, that's awesome to read. Good job on the ghostrides and hope the winter passes soon
Thank you man, i'm starting Longboarding since March and your Videos Helping me so much to getting better. I'm loving more and more Dancing on the Longboard!
Your videos are amazing, thank you so much for it! You are one of the people that inspired me to choose longboard dancing/freestyle. I started 6 days ago at 23 years old(sometimes I thought I'm old to start) and I hope one day I'll be able to do something like you do.
2:39 One thing that helped me kind of learn this (because I landed it for the first time just recently) was jumping forwards when trying to stick the landing. Also trying to jump forward into grass helped me because it's easier to land on grass and also doesn't feel as scary
Agreed man, trick tips are good to boost the learning process but it can be misleading to have to copy everything precisely. People doing stuff their way is what’s cool and creative about longboarding. Anyways, thanks for the comment mate!
@@LongboardsBE Big facts bro. Stoked to see you out making tutorials again. Hoping this winter isn't too rainy for you. I had to abort Oregon for that reason haha 😅
Thanks for this video man I thought of a long combo using the Ghost Ride, Peter Pan, then Ghost Ride Kickflip been practicing nonstop for the last 2 1/2 weeks and finally showed my friends. All of them said I looked really cool and I recommended your channel.
Today i got my first dancing board. I started longboard 1 months ago because seing your video, i am grateful because you are goofie so easy for me to understand and learn. Although difficult to get a good board here, i hope one day can get crownboard. Thank you hans and wish me luck Love from indonesia❤️ 🇲🇨
Well I’ve had a long board for years now. I finally dug it out from the garage and got it cleaned up/ back together to ride it now. Maybe learn some tricks from this video, thanks!
hey hans, i was just wondering how you grade or filter your footage? in all of your videos - there is this really beautiful but subtle blur effect or something, and i really wanna learn how to do it! is it just your camera or is it a filter on adobe? thanks man, glad to have you back :)
Thankyouuuuu I've been wanting longboard tricks for so long! Definitely going to try some of these tomorrow. Btw, really enjoyed that you did actually do "beginner tricks" not like you can see on other videos for beginner tricks
Aw thank you for the kind words. Have fun with them :) Yeah, still i sometimes feel bad when people comment "these are not easy". Of course, no tricks are really "easy", all of them require a lot of practice. Either way, these are the ones i would recommend myself when i started :) Have fun!
Love these videos bc I've watched ALL them, and please keep them coming. I find them so helpful, especially being a little older... I'll take and use your tips. Thanks, Hans. 👏🙏💚💚🤙
ive been watching trick videos all november and december hopeing i get a longboard for christmas. ill be disappointed if i dont but im still going to watch these videos to learn for later

Hey dude, very nice, that u presented the Honeybutter. Been into dancing since first lockdown in germany. Doin well on that Peterpan, Crossstep, 180step n stuff. Kinda afraid of getting the board (loaded bhangra) off the concrete, so Honeybutter should be a good help. edit: Oh yeah, and great video-editing!!! RRRRReally helpful for ridin regular!
The honey butter is a pretty sick name for the trick, I remember watching another video of a guy explaining the same trick and back when he was in Tokyo they called it the dragon tail . Both names are pretty dope , love your videos!
Yeah! I think both names come from the Loaded boards team, you can look up “honey butter tutorial” on youtube and see where that name comes from. That video will always stay in my memory lol hence why i keep calling it that :’)
Hey Hans, just started watching your videos and am already a fan. For my first board I wanted a symmetrical one that’s good for cruising and doing some of the tricks in this vid. What would you recommend? Would pay around 150-200 tops. Edit: that would be dollars for me but I imagine it scales similarly with Euro amounts
Split screen is a game-changer! Super considerate of you. Truly the make of a great teacher. Thanks!
Ya thank you so much I have learned so much from this video
