- cleaning up the look of the bike, front and back, and getting the final stages of the electronics tray sorted before fitting the panniers and the seat pan.
Coming along nicely. I’m in the final throws of getting my Rat Bike repaired and back together and hopefully have that up and running soon. Always good to see your ideas and nick them though. Can’t wait to see how this turns out if it’s anything like your last project, it’ll be amazing.
Fingers crossed lol. When will we see that lump back in the 535 then?
@@BareBonesMotorcycles it’s in already, I’m just doing a few finishing off bits as I need a few replacement hose clips, bolts, bars, mirrors, and it’s done. I’m going to MOT and sell it as a way past mid life crisis got the better of me and I just bought a GSX R600 for some dumb reason.
Ah nice, what year? Ive had a lot of suzikis,y last fast plastic one was a k1 gsxr1000. Gen 1 hayabusa before that 😄
@@BareBonesMotorcycles This is a Yr 2000 on an ‘X’ plate, she is beautiful, Barry Sheen colours. I think a 600 is about as big as I can handle being quite a little fella anyway. Doesn’t really need any work, last owner had her for 10 years and sank about 3k into her so she’s all set. I’m hoping to start work on the CX 650 once I’ve sold the 535.

Top job on that rich what mig welder do u use Ive got a sealey stick welder but don’t really get on with it bikes looking really good 👊🏻
My mig welder is from a company called rorh, its german i think. They sell them on amazon. Cheers for the support. 👍

I have done in the past, but i have to fit these builds around a full time job. So at the moment, im just doing one build at a time. Maybe later one if i get more space i could start doing projects for other people again
