If you think this version is emotional you should listen to the one from 2013, when Taka also plays the piano while singing. It's a masterpiece! And YEAH, OOR is meant to be listened to live. I totally agree about the emotions every member of the band conveys to the audience. Thank you so much!
There's an even better, more emotional version you really should react to, the 2013 at Yokohama arena, it's hauntingly beautiful. Taka is playing the piano with a string quartet. It's another one of those performances where he's on the verge of just breaking down crying. I wish more people would request from those 2012/2013 Yokohama arena shows. The 2012 concert has the most emotional performance you'll ever see Taka give, Nobody's Home. A must see performance in 2013 is Jibun Rock. It's one of their most unique songs that Taka always has fun performing. In one he rolls around, another he slides down the stage, but this one is special because Taka actually forgot the words.
I think many people would say that the 2013 version is better, but this version, which has evolved since Taka has continued to evolve, is also nice. This may be because his singing voice reflects the many things he has experienced. I'm excited about your song selections, which always go above and beyond my expectations.🤩 I’m looking forward to the next video!!
The way he flawlessly switches back and forth between English and Japanese is amazing. I've only ever seen one performance of Taka when he wasn't absolutely phenomenal and in that case, he was exhausted and incredibly nervous and singing a song that wasn't OOR's. I prefer watching their live performances. In the US you would be hard-pressed to find bands that play to the audience size that OOR does and that don't fake singing or even playing their instruments.
Personally I like the version from Like 2013 where he has long hair for Pierce but this one’s good too.Can you react to One Ok Rock -Wherever you are live piano version ambitions tour and The Beginning Live and Mad World Luxury Disease tour thank you
Yes, Tomoya uses two different drumsticks for this performance. He starts off with two of the sticks that give a more muffled sound, and then mid-song you can see him switching out to one regular stick for use on the snare drum (the word you couldn't think of in English).
Finally, here comes my fav. of fav. Thank you Anthony for reacting this ver. I always listen to another ver. at Yokohama stadium which Taka played piano and sang. So it's my first time listening orchestra one. Taka sounds more emotional here😳 Plz listen to Yokohama ver. too. th-cam.com/video/sgbvcfo59NA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=eIFD5Ts_B8Zr8ZB_
I loved your comment on that portion that reminded you of Queen, that is one of the aspects that drew me to One Ok Rock, and I really heard it in their song "Neon" (which I also love) And as a violinist, also really appreciate that they do orchestral versions!
I agree with the others who said that the 2013 Yokohama version of this song is more emotional. Taka played the piano as he sang and he was actually sick during this performance but he had so much emotion in his voice that it was truly beautiful.
@TheExorcismus I realize anyone, regardless of their sex could definitely imagine Taka singing to them. It's an embarrassing oversight on my part to limit to females. My only excuse is believing Taka is straight.💜
The concert you're thinking of is 35xxxv. In case you haven't seen it the 2016 live at Nagisaen version is truly epic. It has one of the best crowd I've seen. At one point there's over a dozen circle pits. The venue is truly special, a 2 day outdoor fest that had 110k people.
I was having 2 days marathon watching your ONE OK ROCK reacts❤ and i always looking for PIERCE react and you 've done it❤. thank u❤.. i was hoping u have also I WAS KING orchestra ver. ❤

You need to see the live version of this song when Taka is playing the piano and singing.

I can't help but wonder how many different females hear these songs and believe Taka is speaking directly to them. He does seem to love the ladies 💜
