1/8 RC GAS POWERED Radical SR8 (REAL EXHAUST + GEAR SHIFTING)

Ive always wanted to try and replicate a functional fuel powered rc version ov my Radical SR8 with an exact exhaust & capable of changing gears like the real thing ! (Ofcourse the RC only has 2 speed) Still incredible to drive and watch! Brings me so much joy to see this thing in action knowing how a real race car behaves! This is based on the kyosho nitro formula platform with lots of custom work to get it to look and behave this scale ! Hope you all enjoy the video :)

This looks more like a Ferrari 333SP - Momo body than a Radical. They called it their Sports Proto body. But, either way this is a lovely build and a runner. Cheers!!

I had a Tamiya rc model very similar in looks to this, but it was electric powered and front wheel drive. It was extremely light and very quick.

I recognized the engine as the kyosho .12cz. You should see the new kyoshos, Serpents and Hobao. They are even more sophisticated than this. Beautiful Rc man. Love old Rc’s
