It is a joy to watch CC play. There is an elegance about her game play. I remember feeling the same way watching Pete Maravich play. There is just something special about her that goes beyond her excellent skills. She reminds me of how basketball was played in the 70s and 80s. I realize there were no 3 pt shots then, but players still hit the basket from that far out for 2. Just a joy. I've never watched the WNBA this much. I'm definitely a CC fan.
It appears that the fever is adjusting to the skill level and the passing of clark and not the reverse... She will make the the whole team better given a little time. She really is a player on a different level than the rest of her team
I think people are starting to wake up to the fact that she really is on another level as an all around player. It isn't just deep 3s. Honestly I think her passing is even more impressive.

Well since he's a rookie that will be a long time from now and hopefully not even true. It does appear that many of her fans don't actually watch the WNBA. It's hard for me to believe they can watch a person who shoots 31% from three-point land 37% from the field leads the league in turnovers and technical fouls. And honestly think she's one of the best players in the league. Especially when their players like Sabrina Lonescu, Aja' Wilson and many others that are clearly better players. This isn't a dingle on her most rookies struggle when they go to the next level. My favorite NBA player Kobe Bryant was super talented but wasn't a superstar his first couple years.

The first game of the season against Connecticut, their revenue from ticket sales, parking, food, and merchandise exceeded their revenue last year for the entire year! One game brought in enough money to pay both team's players salaries for an entire year, plus both teams' coaching staff.
Clark could allow WNBA salaries to triple. Bottom line, they should be kissing her feet.

Reese is about rebounds, and she had 13 of them. Clark is about a lot of things. While she is known for her scoring, especially logo 3s, she is equally a great passer/facilitator. Her shot was off but her passing and game management were on point. Maybe not the point totals advertised but a close game with tons of rebounding by Reese and great passing by Clark made the game worth watching.

For those that don't agree on the CC Affect vs The Rookies Class Affect , check not only the attendance at the games for each of the rookies games but more importantly, Check the gate receipts for the same games. It is not even close in how much money the CC Games brings in vs the rookies games.

Never in my life have I voluntarily watch Basketball. Especially womans Basketball. But a few days ago I saw someone about a woman named Caitlin Clark. So I looked up the name here on TH-cam out of curiosity and I can say Im pretty blown away at how she can nail 3 point shots over and over again and from way far back. Now I'm actually looking forward to watching her play an Actual WNBA game.
