No multiplayer was such a BIG miss. Had they included it, people would be emulating real events complete with commentary and everything. I hope they reconsider this decision.

I had a completely different experience with this game, but I only have the 360 version of Monster Jam 2007 to compare it to. The best monster truck game I had played in my life was MTM2 and this one stood shoulder to shoulder with it in my opinion. I like the stadium events because what I really wanted in these games was the experience of being part of the actual events and the ones from MTM1 were all I had up till now. I'm pretty surprised I seem to be in the minority of people who enjoyed this game quite a bit.

One of my friends was complaining how long the series literally go forever, and it seems like you’ll never unlock the next tour. Urban Assault is easily my favorite so when they said it this game offered an open world I had the reaction u had but after hearing my friends play it I don’t need this. It’s just gonna make me set up my wii and play urban assault

This game *is* very generic-feeling. Path of Destruction had lower production values and didn't run very well, but it felt more like a Monster Jam game than Steel Titans does. At least PoD had announcers.
Trucks do cost way too much to unlock. I'm about two-thirds of the way through career mode and so far I've only unlocked about four or five trucks out of the 20+ in the game.
