For those who are curious, I had two cancers and went through a really heavy chemo journey. All I could do was listen to audio devotions and uplifting speeches. The bible verses you will see at the end of this video were repeatedly spoken for months. In my last three chemo sessions, my husband sent me the first video link of Jackie and Shadow. All the bible verses I have been hearing immediately downloaded to my spirit like Niagra Falls as I watched the pair. Tears flowed when I saw their wings spread (Isaiah 40:31). I could not contain the emotions.
By January, hubby took me to Big Bear. He drove around and then pulled over. We both came out of the vehicle to look up, hubby had his binoculars in hand... when JACKIE flew above us, 10Ft above the ground, and she looked down... she looked at us! My husband wept. I wept.
This was the beginning of my insatiable obsession of bald eagles, with particular special bond to our Jackie and Shadow. This is my opportunity to thank FOBBV, Sandy Steers, Cali Condor, and Lady Hawk. They made my journey much easier and faster. Jackie and Shadow pulled me out of my depression. Hence, "FEED THE FAITH, STARVE THE FEAR."

Thank you 🙏 for the time you put into these videos. I discovered Jackie 💕and Shadow💞 about two months ago and I have truly loved watching their beautiful relationship and how they care for their eggs. As an avid bird watcher and an elderly woman, not able to get out like i would like to, watching these videos gives such peace and pleasure. 😊🦅🤎🤍🖤🤍🩶
@gingerrobinson7720- hello friend. When you described yourself I felt like you were describing me! I , too am an older disabled woman who can’t really leave my home and love bird watching! Finding Jackie and shadow taught me so many lessons and has brought joy laughter peace some worry but overall happiness. I wish I could give back to them as much as they give to others! I hope you are well and of course the sweet kitties! It’s also a different feeling watching.. some sadness.. which is to be expected if you’re a human with feelings! I felt as if I was supposed to be overly positive and optimistic- I still have hope but want to be realistic too! Ok , I said too much. I want you to be well and enjoy the beautiful Eagles! @@edwardizhonig204 Thats ok! I don't take it as complaining, Everyone needs to burn someone's ear sometimes! I knew not to be overly optimistic, Was kinda hard, But I thought this year would be better for them, I know there's still some time for the other 2. I've been trying to be positive, But I just don't have a good feeling right now and I've always trusted that feeling, Unfortunately the bad feeling is right as much as I hate to say it. I have to be honest. I Truly Hope it's Wrong for Once! Hoping things get better for you and you feel better! Kitties are good 😊

When I think back on how these two beautiful, majestic birds protected those precious eggs through rain, sleet, unbelievable winds and relentless snow, please dear Lord, let it not have been in vain. Please. 🙏🏻

That is always the answer with you LaLa Land people. Anything that happens you do not apply logic or science to. You say God works in mysterious ways. I do not think so. If there was a god controlling things then insurance actuaries would be useless because something would be messing the statics up. Sometimes the eggs just don't take and turn out to be duds. It happens. Then Jackie and Shadow get a clue, take off and abandon the eggs to the crows to eat. The dud eggs are not wasted. Crows will then regurgitate them to their own babies. The unfortunate random reality in nature. If it goes on much longer, these eggs may be an unviable/lost clutch. Jackie and Shadow will know. There is always next season.
I know it's nature's cycle of life but I was hoping the pips/eggs would get checked to see what went wrong...
I'm really hoping for egg 3 to hatch I'm just praying it will hatch

Yes if viable they can be heard. I pray for Jackie and Shadow to at least have one hatch!!! I have been following them for 8-9 years. They have had so many trials! They are a beautiful loving couple who deserve to be parents this year again!!!❤️🦅🦅❤️
They seem very confident the past couple of days. Maybe they can hear a baby or two? How did they behave last year at this stage? Thank you for your reply!

I wish I can share with you the depth of revelation I was given. I do believe our bald eagles are sent to us (in our encounter) to uplift us. I will be including you and your grand daughter in my prayers 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Is there still hope?
I wonder if the camera man would be able to inject the insulation foam under the nest to help keep the eggs warm next clutch? Just an idea to help them keep the eggs warm next time. Last year they were sad when the egg did not hatch. Bless their little hearts. It was heartbreaking watching them abandon their egg.

Several factors. But experts observed she gets agitated by intruders flying too close, if not harassing her.

I love watching these birds. Very soothing. But WAY too many religious obsessives using high fives for prayer hands. Won't read the comments any more. Give me the willies, the comments.
I get annoyed over those comments also. I hold my tongue cause I think people find religion comforting and it is their right. But my opinion is that for the balance of nature it is sometimes necessary for disappointing things (to us & even them - I think the eagles have feelings) to happen.
Seriously..this is nature people. It happens. Stop trying to humanize them.
@cajbaf- it happens to humans too! We don’t always have control over things. I think that can be difficult to accept. That is life. It can be difficult but beautiful!❤️

And she laid on them eggs for 62hrs straight now we wait as the time is not looking good but I'm still praying 😢
