- Even in regular times, Palestinians accuse the Israeli government of weaponising arbitrary arrests and say they face discrimination and abuse in the Israeli penal system. But after October 7, the scale and severity of abuse and lack of accountability have increased massively. With government ministers boasting of putting prisoners on "starvation diets" and some inmates even dying from torture, being arrested as a Palestinian - often without charge or trial - seems to be more dangerous than ever.

Israeli atrocities will never go unanswered. Those responsible will face the harshest of justice. Nothing will be forgotten all will be recorded. Israel will look back in the future days and ask themselves, how did we come to the point where we thought we could inflict the same crimes against others as was committed against us. Their children will ask the elder, " And what did you do?"
But remember that their children are indoctrinated into the system from kindergarten. So how can it be changed? Would they really ask that question? Witness the great majority of Israeli citizens, and especially all those young people that make up the IDF fighting forces. They are the ones torturing all the detainees and "prisoners". They actually believe that they are eliminating the so called "low life" Palestinians, as is their right to do. They were all children in recent decades. Reading those small written English translation is, for some of us, rather difficult to follow especially when the time given to read those translation is so limited. We would want very much to know what the young man is saying but the written English translation is far too small for us to follow in that limited time frame.
