New to van life? How to empty a chemical toilet cassette (with a Sog fitted)

With the rapid growth in van life be it motorhome, caravan or camper, it occurred to me that there are a lot of new owners setting off on adventures for the first time who are excited and terrified in equal measure. If thats you heres a simple demonstration of how to empty your new toilet cassette quickly, safely and cleanly. We have a sog fitted but the cassette emptying remains the same.

Great video, been motorhoming for many years but always nice to see people thinking of newbies. As you swy when we're new to this this kind of thing it's very useful to have the basic information.
We both use it so we both empty it (that's my moto) 😅

What about the campers that just have a waste hose? Wouldnt that be easier? and you don't need to carry your poo around

I assume you mean the kind that are common in America? We don’t have them here in Europe. I assume there’s some sort of waste tank still so still carrying it around?!
