The Tommy Hilfiger was an exclusive Gameboy to the Tommy Hilfiger Stores. It was a marketing Scheme to be sold with the purchase of clothes.
Josh Hayman I believe there was a modeling thing where GameBoy Colors were put inside the heels of high heels (I am not sure if it was Tommy Hilfiger, but it was a model thing). LOOK IT UP!

Gameboy Camera was amazing! I remember saving for it as a kid. Made so many stupid stop motion videos.
I saw the Game Boy giant carrying case at Value Village, but they wanted 75 dollars for it. It was not even mint either. The stickers were peeling and faded from the sun and Value Village always uses these oil pens that you can never get the damn price off.

(pushing up my glasses nerdily) I started retro game collecting some years back with the Nintendo game and watch handhelds as these are what I had the fondest memories of from my childhood (I'm 47). Some books that I read on them mentioned how Nintendo used to do limited company release editions, mostly in Japan and some parts of Europe, which were similar to the Tommy Hilfiger gameboy you have there, basically a standard game with a company logo on it (companies like Bosch and Mitsubishi). The public, didn't see a lot of these as most were company gifts but some were sold to the public as promotional items. With the game and watch handhelds, these limited company releases (some only got 40 or 50 labelled handhelds) are amongst the rarest of the rare because they were quite often given to people who didn't give a shit about them and they disappeared. I don't know if it's the same for gameboy but you might have a little gem there Jay.
I still have my Turquoise GBC and it works.

A lot of good memories with those. I was hyped the day I got the Super Game Boy. I remember my older cousin had the Light Magic for the original Game Boy back in the day. I had the one for Game Boy Color.
My gameboy collection
Original gameboy DMG- $20 with all manuals, Tetris with case and manual, mega man 2 with manual; and some other stuff, and the connector cable. Thrift store
Red gameboy pocket- my original I've had since I was a kid. Everything works great except the speaker. Parents got it at a pawn shop.
Red gameboy pocket cib- includes all manuals. Got it off of Facebook. Not sure what I payed.
Teal gameboy color- my original that my parents got me as a child. Everything works like new. I don't exactly remember when my parents bought it.

Glacier gameboy advanced- includes screen cover with light as well. Got it in a trade.
Who are you? Edition gba sp 001- got it in a trade. I particularly wanted this one because this is the version that I had as a kid. I no longer have my original, but I'm glad I was able to find one like it.
Purple gba sp001- got it at the thrift store payed like $5 for I think.
Pikachu gba sp 101- has some wear to it, but everything is decent. Got it at the thrift store. Payed $3
Black gba micro- got it from a guy who was sellin off his collection. He knew the values and didn't care. Got it for $10

Editor notes were perfect. Loved the video. I had the white Nuby magnifying glass/light attachment. A separate video of your games would be awesome.
I bought the Sega Game Gear instead back in the day because it was color.. I had the big case with all the accessories too

Never knew there was a Hilfiger Gameboy, really fucking cool. I think the only Gameboy brand hardware other than the Micro, that you didn't show is the GameBoy Player for the Gamecube. Not like it's really hard to find or unusual anyways, so no loss. Had much more fun seeing the Gameboy shaped case and the Texas sized Gameboy shaped case lol.

I miss my game boy collection. I actually use gameboy's to write music sometimes with custom flash carts and a special program called LSDJ. "Chiptune" if you didn't know =P

Cool collection! I only have the original DMG-01 and the GB Boy Colour, that is enough for me for now. I do have an insane game collection though for the original system!!!!!
ps i would like the pocket in the style of the original, the Zelda sp and the micro. I use my super Game Boy the most.

pink? that's more salmon colored. maybe because I am older (mid-30s) and I just enjoy the GB/GBC over GBA in terms of collecting and interest. I had the GBA when it came out but something about the sound, the graphical limitation, and cool things that developer did with the system

The Tommy Hilfiger Game Boy was just because they partnered together to sell shit at their stores like you said. Not much more to it. They had Game Boy Colour Demo units at Tommy Hilfiger stores as well with the logo on them

It doesn't fit much, 1 console, 6 games and 2 player link lead. Easier to carry than the larger one. I love mine :-)

I don't have the yellow one as i don't collect Game Boy Color..........yet! I have the other 2 plus the Ascii hard cases small and large. There is a black case for the pocket (i think). I've seen it but cannot remember for what system it's for! They're all cool though :-)
