I was in Nairobi last year i did all the typical tourist adventures it was great, Karen & west gate where my favorite Areas, what disappointed me ws when i took Matatu(taxi) from An Area in town to the CBD with the price of 10-15 Shillings if i still remember, frm 15 Shillings i had to pay more than 300 shillings going back to my apartment, i couldn't understand that & i straight questioned the guy..he told that it is peak hr that's why the price went up. I was like ok, in that case am willing to pay double price bt not 300 that's way too much..the guy threatened so bad, like a piece of sh*t..at the end I paid the amount..i just didn't wanted to be dramatic or cause scene out of it, even worse being a tourist..knowing Kenyans are very loving, great, & educated people i ws disappointed..But if its that's how things Roll i will clearly understand, Please let me know my lovely Kenyans if that's normal !!! I was in Nairobi last year i did all the typical tourist adventures it was great, Karen & west gate where my favorite Areas, what disappointed me ws when i took Matatu(taxi) from An Area in town to the CBD with the price of 10-15 Shillings if i still remember, frm 15 Shillings i had to pay more than 300 shillings going back to my apartment, i couldn't understand that & i straight questioned the guy..he told that it is peak hr that's why the price went up. I was like ok, in that case am willing to pay double price bt not 300 that's way too much..the guy threatened so bad, like a piece of sh*t..at the end I paid the amount..i just didn't wanted to be dramatic or cause scene out of it, even worse being a tourist..knowing Kenyans are very loving, great, & educated people i ws disappointed..But if its that's how things Roll i will clearly understand, Please let me know my lovely Kenyans if that's normal !!! Peace
