Hydrogen isn't sustainable....ask chat gpt if Hydrogen can really beat evs in future ...it will give you accurate answer... storage problem, highly inflammable, extremely high car cost and extremely high refueling cost, a large amount of energy is required to seperate Hydrogen from water and lack of infrastructure, and majority of the people won't be able to afford hydrogen vehicles.
20 years ago smart phones didn't exist, telephones did , but technology improved right? Now we have so damn much amazing smart phones in our pockets with amazing features. Just like now we have smart chargers to charge phones faster, in future we will definitely have fast charging evs... I think it's just the beginning, Evs will improve with time, wait for 5 years and we might see EVs ranging upto 700-900 kms in just 15-20 minutes single charge..... technology will get better evs will get better...but hydrogen isn't viable in long term...
Also I believe in the smart mind of the billionaires and ceos of car companies, all of them are much more bullish on EVs than hydrogen cars. Elon musk is a brilliant business man , he knows what's he doing and what's better... That's why he along with all car companies are much more focused on EVs than hydrogen...

Also we learnt in school that hydrogen even though gives more energy output, it takes more space to be stored due to being pressurized than fossil fuels which provide that same amount of energy.... And transportation is another issue as it is not a good fuel if it is bad in one of the following like emission, transportation and efficiency, it ticks 2 boxes, but the transportation one is a issue, but if they somehow makeachines which extract make h2 gas on the refuel station it self, and store it at very low Pressure and temperature and then when it requires to be filled in the vehicle, the machines re- pressurize it on the spot, or it is filled with low pressure and then the car pressurizes the h2 then it will tick the 3rd box too...

There are still some issues and these are serious issues:-
    1) space the tanks take a lot of space and i mean a lot.
    2) it’s still hydrogen and the tanks can still get damage in a case of accident or if you car is hit by something that may damage the tanks and then boom 💥 .
