Arthur and Edward had arrived at Tidmouth and found a lonely Rosie, he was very depressed looking and was in some sort of daze, she kept mumbling to herself on how it wasn’t her fault and she didn’t mean for this to happen. Arthur and Edward were concerned about her when suddenly a deep raspy voice made them jump, it said “It’s all your fault Rosie….you were greedy…..and made them suffer”. Arthur’s driver looked in Rosie’s cab and what he saw was horrifying. Rosie’s firebox had become mutated and had the face of a troublesome truck, she was taking to the voices instead her head! After a while the engines decided to head back to the others, Arthur and Edward coupled up to Rosie and the three set off down the line. Rosie was breaking down more and more, Edward used his kind words to try and cheer her up. When they rounded the corner they found Thomas, Percy, Molly and Neville, Percy had a Triumphant smirk on his face and out stepped from his cab was non other than Sir Bertram Topham Hatt. They engines went made to Tidmouth Sheds and Topham told them his story. He was at Tidmouth at the time and was about to board Emily’s train. Emily was taking to Rosie who had just left Old Slow Coach at Crovan’s Gate works for a repaint. Suddenly the blast happened. Emily yelled at Rosie to push the other half of the train up the line, but Rosie didn’t listen she remembered Old Slow Coach and raced back down the line to get her, Emily furiously pulled out of the station, meanwhile Topham made it to his car and drove as far away as he could. He made to Tidmouth Sheds and found a mutated Percy, he had been there ever since, he had his when he heard the engines coming. Once he finished his story the engines began taking about he could have caused all this, while Rosie was silent and looking very tense. The engines awoke the next morning to Rosie having an episode with Fireface, Fireface was telling Rosie she was an old pile of metal ready to be cut up. Rosie screamed in pain fighting for control, her was whistle blaring and she was shaking violently. Percy rolled up to her and asked if she was alright. Rosie looked at Percy and told him to take care of Old Slow Coach for her. She then moved back and charged towards the breakdown crane in the siding with its arm sticking out. Topham knew what was happening and sprinted towards her. The engines watched in horror as the tank engine slammed head first into the breakdown crane arm. Everyone broke down in tears at Rosie’s tragic demise, Molly especially, she and Rosie, along with Emily had all become close friends. Once they had all calmed down they heard a loud bell and two tonal whistles……… To be continued………….
The issue there is that with a wrecked boiler that would not be in any sort of serviceable condition to be used, fire face would likely just be left there without any ability to move

And Tell Her, I'll Miss Her Very Much.... This Is Your Final Day Of Living Fireface! This Is What I Get For My Selfish Act! Percy: Rosie No! Then Percy Went On To Rosie's Line. And Rosie Bashed Into Percy Into The Arm Of The Breakdown Crane. All The Engines Gasped. And Thomas Lets Out A Loud Despairing And Pained "No!" And Let's Out A Final Cry Before Breaking Down Into Tears. Then A Montage Of Thomas And Percy Working On The Railway Was Shown While Thomas Mourned Over Losing Percy.
