This helmet absolutely belongs in the top level category. All of the brands you included make a great helmet. The S2 performs as good or better IMO. For me the only real weakness is that it is only currently available is solid colors, no graphics. This is a great helmet.

We will have the SR1 later this summer. I would not compare this to the signet Q as that helmet offers a very specific long oval fit helmet and the Schuberth helmets are more of a standard intermediate oval.

No the C3 does not currently come with the upgraded antenna. Personally I would go with the full face S2. Over the long haul there are less moving parts (not a flip up) and simply less that can go wrong for that reason. In the event of a crash if I could choose between a full face and a modular I would go full face every time. Hope this helps. BTW the S2 is an excellent helmet!

I am 58cm and the medium S2 fits me perfectly. I would suggest the medium

The new model S2 has an integrated antenna in the shell. Better reception for communications. Is this coming in the C3 ? C3 is better in noise. I'm right on the fence between the two, and need a dealbreaker.

Thanks for the fast reply ! Great advice. Now that I'm set on the S2, I'd like to know if Schuberth markets the S2 with the Comm system pre-installed? I'm going to get the Comm set, at the same time as the helmet, but it doesn't make much sense to have a new useless spare neck ring left over from the process.

If you're a size 58 why did you get the medium? 58-59 is a size Large in the Shcuberth S2 line.

I purchase a Schuberth S2 helmet and would like to install a bluetooth unit. I don't want their SRC colar unit because I was told that it makes the helmet harder to put on and off and it's already very snug. I already have the Cardo G9x but the adaptors they include don't help. If I use 3m VHB tape to attach it I will not have access to the rear plugs for the ear spearker and aux. Do you know of any other system that fits the S2 besides the SRC?

+sup3rskrull The Arai Vector series are the closest in physical size and weight and aerodynamic qualities to the S2. They are both excellent helmets you can't go wrong with either one. Try them both on as the fit is what will determine which one you'll buy!!

Schuberth's website says a 58-59 cm is a large, how does a medium fit you.

This is an old video, perhaps they have changed the sizing since this model was current. We have not offered this brand in several years now. - Van

@@markkulyas2418 Depending on the item some of the information in the video may be helpful to a rider looking to service the helmet. On top of that it is part of the overall TH-cam analytics, if we take the videos down the metrics drop which will have a negative impact on the channel. - Van

+David M I think you will be good with the large that you ordered. Once you get the helmet wear it around in your house with the visor sticker on and get a good feel for it. If for any reason you have questions about the size give us a call at 888.784.4327.

I would say so, it is a very quiet helmet and that will be a benefit on a naked bike for sure. - Van
