That'll be in the second edition of the video. The UK with the black eye still applies.

Norway won in 1995 with a song that consist of only 24 words and long violin solos. When Norway won again in 2009, nothing had changed

It was either that or include that scene from Israel's 2015 song. "Okay. We gotta go. Three minutes. Bye-Bye."

When talking about the points system at the end you failed to mention one of the most important aspect of it. A country can't hand out votes to its own. Seems obvious to people who know the contest, not so for those who don't know anything about it.

If you make another video on Eurovision, you can add that the original contest was modelled on the "Festival di Sanremo", an Italian music contest which began in 1951 and continues to this day. Despite being one of the 14 founding participants of the Eurovision Song Contest, Italy withdrew from the ESC in 1997 (lack of interest was mentioned as the reason), and returned in 2011. Italy is now one of the five "untouchables", as one of the main contributors to the EBU.

2:45 "remember those guys? They did Dancing Queen"
Not necesary this, ABBA was more known just for the iconic "Waterloo" ! (the winning song in UK 1974)
Still today, in the week of Eurovisión 2021, news polls voted "Waterloo" the greatest song of all Eurovisión history, as in 2005

    • @JERealize

I see that you called it the Eurovision network. The European Broadcasting Union is an international Broadcasting Union which broadcast the Eurovision Song Contest.
I am from Ireland and we have a great history in the Eurovision Song Contest. We won it 7 times and are first win was in 1970 with Dana with a cong called All Kinds of Everything. We won it again in 1980 and 1987 with Johnny Logan. The King of Eurovision. We were very good in the 90s won the Eurovision in 1992, 1993, 1994 and 1996. Johnny Logan wrote two songs for Linda Martim.
He wrote the first song called Terminal 3 which came 2 place in the 1984 Eurovision Song Contest and the second he wrote was called Why Me? Which won the 1992 Eurovision Song Contest. In 1994 Eurovision Song Contest Ireland won it 6th Eurovision Song Contest with a Song called Rock N Roll Kids which was sung by Paul Harington and Charlie McGettigan.
Charlie McGettigan is from Drumshambo, Co. Leitrim, Ireland where I am from. It was also the year when Riverdance became an International Dance. The last time we won the Eurovision song Contest was in 1996 with Eimear Quinn with a cong called The Voice.

It’s good to know a lot about the rules, numbers and dates. But as a European long time Eurovision fan I think the video is mission some very important parts:
That Eurovision is first and foremost about bringing people from all the different countries and cultures together through music like one big family and have a party and all the traditions and initiatives that are made every time to make it a party that unites everybody

Actually the language rule changed the year before ABBA made their entrance into the contest. The rules were relaxed. But other than that it was spot on. Kuddos to the song entry that used an invented language doesn't matter after all.

Ironically the last two winners have been in native non English languages but I guess the musical styles (rock and rap) plus one of them getting a lot of sympathy for having their country invaded overcame the language barrier.
