It's reprehensible what Israel has done to the people of Gaza, and what they are doing to the Lebanese in Beirut now, also. Through all of this, I am becoming more extreme in my views of Israel, and I no longer think they deserve to be a state. They have lost that right, which they should never have had, what a terrible idea it was to seize the homes and land of the Palestinians in the first place, which has led to 75 years of occupation. Why has the world, the international community, allowed this savagery to continue? Everyone believes in the idea of the United Nations to keep world peace, but all of this has shown what a shabby incompetent job they've been doing, and I no longer think that the United Nations amounts to more than a lot of blather, and that it should be disbanded as well.

The missiles can be hidden, probably most underground, the radar for air defence have to be in a relatively exposed position to work properly, Hezbollah have used drones to knock out some of Israeli air defence
Effective air defences and radars are more expensive than missiles and are generally taken out by effective air power.

I disagree with this statement. Pezeshkian is an inept president who is “learning on the job”. No foreign policy experience. Alistair Crooke brings a depth of analysis to issues that is rarely matched by other political commentators. He also appears to be fair, balanced and neutral. It's a pity that such a man cannot speak truth to power directly to prevent the oncoming Nuclear World War three.......

Afshin tried too hard to package too much in his questions and would have served the audience better if he had given Mr. Crooke enough of the floor to communicate fully his peerless insights into the complexities discussed.
