Dimash is 6’3”. and by the way has perfect pitch. He also has a great sense of humor. Yes, he meant to fall! 😊
His Diva Dance Bastau performance is even better! and it's only 1'40", you should check it too, it's really mindblowing!! He falls down couse the alien who sings the song in the movie dies at the end of the song (yes, spoiler, sorry) and falls down too.

@@susannariera If what you say is true...then why doesn't he fall down at Bastau? It wasn't an acting job from the movie. It was a vocal performance of the basic song. Everyone touts Bastau as better. I think both are good for different reasons.
It all depends on the venue and the situation. At Singer it was a contest where he was the new guy. He was sensitive enough toward the other contestants. He doesn't want to be Mr Show off. But he does compete to the best of his ability. Sorry if I came off antagonistic. Wasn't my intention. Just thought you got it wrong in regards to his falling down.
However....neither of us know for sure, aye?
@@sheronkirkus3615 I don't want to start an argument, it's a common theory that he falls due to the movie, I'm not the only one who says so. Here is the end of his performance, Bastau was in a full concert, huge stage, completely different circumstances. And this is episode 12, not that new guy! As I said, both theories are good. Loved this!!!! I had no idea that "The Diva Dance" meant the 5th Element song!!!! I was soooo pleasantly surprised when I recongnized the music.... 😍 If anyone in real life was going to be able to do it, it would be him! He altered it slightly but nothing that would not stand to reason given the nature of the song... He's just fantastic! Great reaction! See you next time!

He is 6 feet, three inches tall. The work and dedication to his craft is unbelievable. He does daily underwater laps in Olympic size swimming pool ( when touring, stays in hotels with pool) to keep his lung compacity and breathing control. Does 4 hours of vocal exercises daily. He certainly deserves all the fan appreciation n recognition. Super nice one. He has been named a national treasure of Kazakhstan.

Now compare it with the version of Diva Dance at the Bastau concert and the duet version with Li Yugang. You won't believe that he can sing it even better. You can do both in one reaction video because they are so short.

The Diva Dance is the song of the alien in the movie the 5th Element. It was sung by an human but put together and tuned in the studio. Nobody ever thought that this song could be sang live. You can find an even better version of it at his Bastau concert and a weird mash up of the „Drunken concubine + Diva Dance“ he did in a duett with Li Yugang. It‘s crazy and you should react to this one.

The Bastau version of the Diva Dance is much better I think. (Btw, no human was supposed to be able to sing this. It was written for an aliens's voice in the movie The Fifth Element and was altered electronically there).Though I really like Confessa too. He communicates the emotions so well. He is incredible.

FYI it was sung by the Albanian opera singer Inva Mula. There are parts, in which separate notes, sung by her, were combined by computer and made into an unsingable song by a human. So singers change it a bit to make different singable versions. the composer Eric Serra said: "I had never worked with an opera singer before, I didn’t quite realize the technical ability they had, I thought that only 60% of the song was actually possible to sing. She sang 85% of what I thought was technically impossible."

Diva dance is from the movie The 5th element, where it is "sung" by a computer processed voice. Generally thought to be unsingable.
Do not compare yourself with Dimash. He is in a league of his own.
