Well for starters throw that plastic sledge in the trash, go buy an 8-10lb full sledge with a WOOD handle at home Depot and then cut the handle down to desired size. Also do this from one knee instead of standing because you can pull your lower back muscle pretty bad with a strong enough swing. Also better to drive standing parallel to the stakes horizontal side (long side of the rectangle) to keep it from pulling towards you.
