Honestly so underrated, you're analysing this single season of an anime that spans only 26 epsiodes at such a depth that even I, who has rewatched this show like a hundred times, am genuinely interested in these writing techniques you speak about that I had never noticed myself. PERFECT

Hey, sorry it took me so long to respond!
I really appreciate it! Hopefully one day I'll be evenly rated.
I guess I should reiterate that I'm not a professor and don't actually know what I'm talking about. I'm not sure how much of my analysis of Joseph is rooted in Araki's actual intentions, and I was more just talking about why I personally find the character appealing, so perhaps take some salt with my analysis.
