So, you can't repair static vehicles. This may be coming in a future update. If the tracks/wheels or engine on a vehicle break you can repair it, I'm guessing this will apply to turrets in the future. You may possibly be able to build static defenses in the future, though I'm not one hundred percent sure on it.
I kinda like that. feels realistic as you can fix things like tracks and basic engine components in the field, but other internal parts require that a vehicle be brought back to the rear lines because the repairs require parts and equipment not available on the front.
Okay, now this is even more better. A toolbox from the Sapper? Destroying emplacements? Make things a bit easier. Although I have a Nintendo Switch, it will take more days until the update is ready…. Like after the PC version first, and maybe the other consoles too.
would love seeing additional dlc about the pre-lude to WW2 the testing ground for the Axis vs the Commintern, the Spanish civil war, or the 1939-40 short winter war would be awesome!
This is the perfect game to download and let it cook a little longer. That way, every time you go into it, it's a different experience same with Arma Reforger
I can see that, I do love how there is workshop support for the PC so people can make custom maps to try out. Of course those aren't always in the best quality.
@@JustMob Iwo would be amazing. I graduated last year with my bachelor’s degree in history. Planning on becoming a Pacific War historian. I had to make a 5 minute mini documentary for class so I know it’s a time consuming process but I would be stoked to watch and try to make the map myself

@Rogue_Soldier No, you can't repair stationary weapons. But it might be added later. Who knows. And if the vehicles hull gets destroyed, then you can't repair it.
Really depends, it's more singleplayer/co-op compared to Hell Let Loose. I personally can't run HLL due to my PC, so I can't give that much of an opinion. If you're looking for a game that you can chill and kill bots with friends or other people on pvp games, then I'd say give it a shot. Plus, the base game is around $8.99 with around $24 for all the DLCs, so it's not like you'll be spending 30 to 40 dollars on it.
There is a lot more content then hell let loose as well as a workshop for pc users for almost unlimited content, I've seen some modern warfare/ww1 mods on the workshop.
@ata9511 To be fair, my childhood kind of originated around this time period. Movies, games, toy army men, hell I'm getting into reenactments soon. My first PS1 game was the original Medal of Honor. I agree that the time period has been milked like a cow over the years, but I don't see a problem with it due to my childhood and my fascination with the time period. Plus, it still lets people get immersed into the time period. Same as how other games will immerse people into other wars and conflicts in history. Those 60 million people who lost their lives should be remembered, and I hope it never happens again.
In comparison to other WWII it doesn't milk the Normandy and do not portray it as the only thing that happened during WWII. Even if there's Normandy DLC you can play as Canadians, when the last time did you saw Canadians in WWII game? In CoD3 20 years ago? Game also features a less known nations like Italians and France which are practically non-existent in WWII games. Soon there will be DLC with war in China, name an FPS title that isn't a modification and have playable China. ER2 is a combined arms game where you have bots that can control infantry, tanks, planes and artillery - no, Enlisted isn't the answer, their AI is just an A and you don't have to grind the weapons. There's no other game that allows that, Enlisted bots are just +1 lifes as they don't act on their own. The game do not add non-existent weapons, attachments or prototypes like CoD, BFV or Enlisted. Additionally ER2 has map editor that allows you to create any scenario, from know battles like Okinawa, to less known battles some of them are even good. And personal thing, the game isn't slow compared to other WWII games, shooting with Lee-Enfield is basically on par with any semi-automatic rifle.

Sweet! I just bought this game but not played it yet.. Good to know they're still adding to it.
The next campaign after North Africa should be Operation Market Garden. That would be cool. Great game; one of my favorites.
Fun fact, after North Africa is Sino-Japanese.
Great game. Really looking forward to the afrika campaign
When will it be ready?
@@cameronkedas3375it is taking longer than they initially said. Probably by the end of the year.

Newest update finally added the US GCC CCkw trucks, in 5 versions, finally a truck for the US, now we just need some for the british.
I know, bout time the US Forces get their own transport truck.
When can we see the HE shells have more splash damage they don’t seem to do much of anything
I ain't a dev, so no idea. But I think the HE shells could use a tweak, especially on higher difficulties.

I can make a video with the Marines, any particular battle you want to see like Peliliu or Iwo Jima?

Nice having this update on Xbox now. Are there times where you can't repair vehicles, and are you able to repair stationary weapons as well?

Not as of now
Right now, no. Possible in the future.

Will this game ever be on PlayStation?
Don't quote me on it, but most likey. I believe the dev got a kit to put the game on playstation systems.
It is in development for PS4 and PS5. Will release this year, holiday season. Probably late november or december.
when I turn of squad ui it still appears?
is this version 1.14?
1.4.1
This video was posted 1 day before my dog died😢
I can't speak for the other languages, but the Americans and British sound so ridiculous lol Great game though!
They REALLY need to upgrade the sound effects of weapons 😂
I think they will in due time.
Multiplayer without bots ?
Unfortunatley, no..
It's like PVPVE, so you have players controlling squads of bots, facing off against other players doing the same.
