There was older Bally game called "Beat the Clock", which also had timed play. As long as you're out of time units, the game will say "Don't lose the ball", or "Keep ball in play" to remind you that draining the ball will end the game.
Nice run (even if the drain at the end was unfortunate)! It's always satisfying to see the score skyrocket from multiball jackpots, and your first multiball is no exception! ;u; Alsoooo some questions, if you don't mind answering them (I know that luck's a factor on this table but I'm still a novice and kinda still drain a bunch or have some skills to work on): -Noticed that you hardly nudged, I don't mean to sound like it's an obligation, but did you restrain from nudging due to still having ball save active, knowing that the ball couldn't be rescued from draining, wanting to save the warnings/dangers for later, etc.? -When you lose the ball and have to plunge it again, are you plunging before the game automatically plunges the ball for you, or is there some way to turn off the autoplunging? I got hecked over a few times from autoplunges that shot the ball up to the top and had it land in the hole for the Roof entrance, when another entrance would've been shorter for getting into the vault. -Are there any tricks to the Main Entrance and Manhole shots, or is it all just timing (and cradling the ball first to make things easier)?
1) I didn't realize this until now, but center drains strangely reset the tilt warnings. I think this has to do somewhat with checking multiplayer games. I don't know if it applies for outlanes, but if I tilt, I lose all time accumulated and go right into Sudden Death. 2) Depends. If I drain with a "KEEP SHOOTING" prompt, the autoplunger goes off. Otherwise, it's me manually plunging. 3) The vari-target at the Cellar is awful. The Main Entrance, meanwhile, is early from the right flipper, and can be made from the left. You can still aim, but those tiny flippers can make aiming difficult.
Interesting idea for a Pinball board. Infinite balls, but you have to race the clock to try and get into the vault and get more time
