My favorite part about this video is when he slowly rolls past the cars right up to the light and gets to the light JUST as it turns green, rolling on the throttle at the perfect time - now ahead of all the cars without even doing anything crazy. This is excellent riding.
I have never in my life touched a motorcycle I saved up to buy an Iron 883 cus I have always wanted a Harley as I started learning and understanding a bit about motorcycle and as I browsed for my dream bike on Facebook market the Indian Scout popped up and I just couldn’t help but to keep clicking on every Indian scout I saw I now own an Indian Scout bobber that I bought three weeks ago. And I am learning in it. I am so in love with my Indian Scout is my dream back and I can’t wait to keep creating memories with it.
Thats awesome to hear! I also learned to ride on the scout and it's a great beginner bike, just be disciplined with the throttle and you'll be fine. You will make memories every ride you go on. Enjoy it!
There something so damn peaceful about this, just took all my stress away I can feel the rumble, the cold night wind ima sleep like a baby. Around 17 minutes with the tank rub you can really appreciate it’s just a man and his steed awesome

Yeah, I started riding on this bike because I knew I would do something dumb haha. But now that I’m experienced and comfortable riding I got a few more 😅
Harley discontinued the affordable sportster and withdrew from the entry level market now they want to sell only high-end and gouge you so this is the new Harley sportster. Harley customers are leaving Harley and going to Indian in mass
This was with the sportster Evo discontinuation? Like the last gen sportster? Seems like they want to raise prices and keep the Harley premium. We will see in the long run how that works out.
I really appreciate you posting these, I’m studying how you’re downshifting and stopping to red lights because I have a indian scout as well and I’m overthinking about slowing down from high speeds. I’m still jiffy about how to downshift and shifting from 2nd to neutral plus wondering the correct time to use breaks without stalling or bogging down the engine
When coming to a stop, if im far away I will use the rear brake only and downshift one gear at a time to help me slow down. If I am stoping quickly I will just grab the clutch and brake with both front and back brakes and not worry about down shifting. If your interested I can make a shorter video describing what I’m doing and have the camera pointed down a bit more so you can see what my feet are doing too?
@@motomoj hmmm would stopping quickly without downshifting would stall the bike? and yes I would be thankful if you specify more on braking because that’s what i’m currently nervous getting on the road without enough reassurance of stopping appropriately.
Well when you brake you should grab the clutch and hold it. Then just focus on coming to a stop. Once your stopped you can then focus on coming down to first gear. This can be done at the same time once you have more confidence in both sequences. I will try to create a video this week talking about what I’m doing when riding.
@@motomoj great news, I drove the scout and I did very well! I figured out the braking and riding thanks to your videos, I would definitely stay subscribed and watch your upcoming videos. Thanks man and stay safe.👍
