Canadian here who also had no idea what rush meant. In my area sororities and fraternities weren’t really a thing, and I see they’ve been banned by at least one of the universities I went to. Interesting to see how different college/university experiences can be, even on the same continent!

Your approach and encouragement in this video was so great. I never rushed a sorority, but your words apply to any situation in which you might be "networking" or meeting a lot of new people all at once. Even just starting your college experience, getting out there and socializing with classmates. This look would work for tons of occasions, too.

Pi Beta Phi? I was wanting to join them in college. I went more academic with Russian club, but having a tight knit social circle is important in college! Fun fact, I'm actually going back to school for my associates degree in culinary! I have a BA and a master's but I've always wanted to go to culinary school. It'll be interesting to be back on campus at 37! 😅
What I like about the CoverGirl Outlast lip is that the top layer is a balm and it is not attached to the liquid color (also , they sell it separately) so it is easy to keep in a pocket and easy to apply without a mirror.
Yes! It’s my all time favorite. I’ve been wearing it for 20+ years and it always works whatever the occasion. I’ve worn it for a 12 hour shift and as a bridesmaid it lasts the whole day and the balm is great even by itself.

I think I left another comment on another video about the new Profusion Twilight pallet. I thought about you because you've always upped Profusion. I can't wait to try the pallet when it gets here! And some people thrive on more expensive makeup. Which stinks for them because L'oreal is my favorite brand! They're amazing. And yes, Wet N Wild. If they can't get the All Nighter spray, L'oreal Infallible setting spray is an exact dupe for it. It even smells the same. Probably the same product rebottled since L'oreal owns Urban Decay. Both great setting sprays!

Kind of just good advice for life in general. My grandma used to say pretty is as pretty does. Also I never do bottom mascara. I feel like it adds more lift just on top.
I like the Cover Girl nano brow pencil but the dark brown pulled really red in my brows (dark brunette hair, fair olive skin). Keep in mind I have really light super sparse brows so I have to basically construct my entire brow so that could be part of the problem for me (I'm having to use quite a bit of the product rather than just filling in small spots). I found the color 700 black brown worked better.
Oh also! Military ball season is coming up. Our ball is early this year in September actually. I’d love to see your take on a makeup look for that! I got an emerald green dress, and I usually wear red lipstick for balls and formal events but I don’t want to look to christmassy with the green dress
My daughter has worn eyeliner forever and she told me not to draw the eyeliner on but press it on close to the eyelash base and it turns out perfect and this is with felt tip liquid eyeliner! It’s a game changer especially for beginners 😊

When I rushed in the early 90s I guarantee the only makeup I wore was undereye concealer, eyeliner, and mascara because that was the extent of my makeup kit.

When I rushed in the early 90s I guarantee the only makeup I wore was undereye concealer, eyeliner, and mascara because that was the extent of my makeup kit.
