I’ve been a sinner most of my adult life and some of my wasted youth as well. I’m thirty five and been sober and clean minus a few slips for the better part of six years now. But I’ve tried maintaining my sobriety with the absence of God for the last five. It hasn’t worked. The day I let him into my heart was the day my soul was released. This song hits me hard.

I understand that he wants a relationship with his son and that is fine but to rip him away from the ppl who raised him is good . If he was in a clean, safe home he didn’t to be moved. praying for you all. No reason the father can’t share custody . He should be happy his son has you guys (all this time and you still want to be in his life) if not for you guys no telling where your grandson would be now. I'd promise to do better and I did - until the next time. I don't know if the song and prayer helped, but I never got any serious jail time and, like most youthful offenders, I outgrew my criminal behavior and am now a contributing member of society.
