I went to the summer program so I suppose I could give you some information. In my science class some days we would get assigned to read a passage or book which we would talk about the next day in class, the discussions were usually pretty open ended. On days with labs you would work with partners and groups to complete the lab and then further discuss the lab asking yourself ‘why’ and ‘what’ questions. Overall, harkness flows very well is stem classes and seemed to help me build a really strong understanding of the topic.
This is an unfocused look at individual female achievements within the PEA environment. Though PEA acknowledges problems in this video, it doesn’t mention the sexual hostility many women encountered there.
I'm applying to PEA for the class of 2025 and I want to get to know the school as much as possible. Could you elaborate on the hostility you mentioned? I'm curious about the environment at PEA.
How is Harkness with math/science? I'm applying this year and that's one thing I've always been wondering about.
It's more discussion based i suppose have you applied yet?

This is unless I interpreted your comment there and the hostility is a thing of the past.
I accidentally said "there," I meant incorrectly :)
I’m applying to class of 2025 as well, hope you get in! (Maybe I’ll see you there! 🤞)
I bet it is much better now though, it has been 50 years since 1970 and I’m sure a lot has changed
