I understand that Chris is the other biological parent, but I think it should be whoever has the child's best interest at heart and makes the birthing parent feel the most at ease. Once upon a time people got married then had kids. People waited a while to know the person and build a solid relationship. Now the trend is just have kids if we work out cool if not we can " co parent". Repeat with new relationship till you have the family you wanted. Alot of couples have kids and barely can tell you anything about the other person. It's hard to feel bad for someone who made the same mistake twice.

When my kid's dad acted funny with my 2nd pregnancy and wasn't there for me, I refused to call him when I went into labor. The person who was there for me got to be there! My mom! My mom convinced me to call him after my son was born and he was mad that I didn't let him know but I'm not the one! That's why I dumped him and never looked back. My only 2 kids are with him and I'm not having anymore.
