I feel like wound like that never heals, even if you anything to keep yourself and your partner happy, it'll always be on your mind. And sometimes that same wound would lead you to end the relationship even if you're emotionally attached to that one person just for the simple fact that infidelity is something that will literally break your heart in a million pieces...

This man saying their relationship can be restored because they love each other... No no no no no. Sometimes love is not enough. If there are other problems (cheating, dishonesty, abandonment etc), then love is not going to save that sinking ship.
He left her each time she had a baby and how a man treats your after you give birth to his heir tells you all you need to know. Even if he managed to sneak his way back home after the first time, the second time would’ve been a wrap.
"This relationship can be restored". Only if the intent is for a platonic parental relationship. Chris needs years of maturity and responsibility before he can even begin to be what Andrea needs in a romantic relationship. He's not a bad guy it's just obvious that he wasn't given the right tools growing up about how to be a good husband and father in his household. So he is learning and making ample mistakes as he goes. But the more Andrea sticks around for these juvenile mistakes the deeper her pain is getting. She is a stunning girl with a great heart. She just needs to continue to find peace within herself and her children, then right man will definitely come along.
