Hey Tim,I always enjoy your expert play by play history of old cars & vintage goods.I love to hear the words,it's a time capsule. You must have hours & hours of research in your world of the American car. Thanks Mr Goodpliers.
great video Mr. Goodpliers, very interesting vehicles and other things also. I like the Buick Super and the 61 and 62 T Birds. I like the late 40s Buick fastback cars also. see you in part 2 👍
I agree with Mr. Earl, the 39 Buick design was a mistake. I'm looking forward to the next video, to see the auction results. It was also good to see Biscuit and the older gentleman again.
Actually Joe. Miami Florida is Highly Cuban & others of Spanish descent. Their pronunciation is Me A Me. The more you know, you know. Ty guys for taking us along
The headlights on that 39 Buick remind me of the scene in the original Beetlejuice where the Lady pulls her eyes out. But the rest of the car is nice in my opinion.
Love the Boss Hogg caddy and the pink T-Bird! They both would make nice beautiful cars!! Curious what the sale prices were on those 2. Love your videos buddy!
GM a abandoned the flow though vent system primarily by the 72 model year the issue was the vents location was allowing exhaust fumes to enter back into the cabin. Causing occupants to be exposed to carbon monoxcide.
That 49 Ford looks similar to the first generation Ford Zephyrs sold in the UK starting in 1950. They stopped with the Mark VI in 1972, I might be wrong Ford never actively sold smaller versions of their American stable of cars, the later Zephyr were the biggest cars on UK roads. I don't think they ever used the names Zephyr or Zodiac (top of the range) in the US either, possibly couldn't due to the name being copyrighted. cheers
Really enjoying binge watching your videos. Is there any chance that you'd consider consecutively numbering them in the title in the future and designating them a or b or c if there is more than one at an auction? If not I can sure understand. I'm sure you've got plenty to do just editing and putting these up. Thanks for the videos.
The pink t,-bird were promotional gifts from "Mary K cosmetics" to their top saleswomen given at their regional conventions. Cadillac also got bids in to supply cars several years.
I have a ‘78 Givenchy Mark. 30,000 miles . One of the reasons they didn’t get driven much is that they got the worst gas mileage of any US production car according to the EPA- mine gets 8 city, maybe 11 hiway. ‘39 Buick front end never bothered me. It works better on the coupe, best on the business coupe
Too bad they stole the leaf springs from the 59 thunderbird. You are right it does have factory AC. The evaporator is mounted on the firewall in the engine compartment above the bell housing. It does look like a decent candidate for restoration
The old buick may not have been very pretty in design, but the hard core buick buyers out there at that time would not have settled for anything else. Just saying.
I agree. In those years each brand had its own engineering and the mechanical parts were very specific, which created a real commitment to brand loyalty among buyers
Yeah it really annoys me too when people decide to prop up on someone else’s car! There was a guy who did it in the last auction video I watched on here too!
You are a wealth of information on these walk throughs. Thanks!

I might have missed it, but the usual prices the customer car, and some of the others would have been an extra bonus. As usual, get video.
I wish I was there the 71 Cadillac would have been coming to TX .
Of all cars there , the 1979 Mark V appeared to be in the best shape.
Watching from Busselton wa Australia bro
The dozer is an international, looks like a T6 being it’s gas. 👍🏻
The headlights on that 39 Buick remind me of the scene in the original Beetlejuice where the Lady pulls her eyes out. But the rest of the car is nice in my opinion.
The ‘39 Buick looks like it’s about to cry!
Love the Boss Hogg caddy and the pink T-Bird! They both would make nice beautiful cars!! Curious what the sale prices were on those 2. Love your videos buddy!
The 39 buick is definitely an ugly duckling.... but i tell you what id be having a huge grin on my face driving an old survivor like that and be proud
GM a abandoned the flow though vent system primarily by the 72 model year the issue was the vents location was allowing exhaust fumes to enter back into the cabin. Causing occupants to be exposed to carbon monoxcide.

1951 Ford had a long spear leading forward from the taillights.

39 Buick, not the prettiest girl at the dance but she’s looks fine to me.
You missed the factory door vent glass on the Lincoln mark V. The glass disappeared down into the door panel.
The pink t,-bird were promotional gifts from "Mary K cosmetics" to their top saleswomen given at their regional conventions. Cadillac also got bids in to supply cars several years.
I was hoping to see some of the early 2000's and 90's vehicle's also. Thank you for the great content.😊

39 buick is good looking
Too bad they stole the leaf springs from the 59 thunderbird. You are right it does have factory AC. The evaporator is mounted on the firewall in the engine compartment above the bell housing. It does look like a decent candidate for restoration
Great video is there a posted website where it show when and where these auctions are held ?
Honda is a Honda Dream model.AL B.
Honda Dream in the beginning might be worth a couple bucks
The Buick missed the mark. You can’t beat the looks of an old Chevy. Late 30’s thru 70.
00:01-1967 Londa dream & off course super rough neglected abused condition.
How many years before we see the Good pliers farm auction.......
Every sale I attend, is one closer to mine...
I had a 40 I believe headlights were different
They fixed the styling in 1940.
Harley Earl himself said the '39 design was a mistake.
The Crosby engine became a boat motor. Aren't doggy dew claws thumbs?

From the fenders back, it's great. But that grill area is awful .
Pops in the overalls sitting on the custom Tbird is annoying.
Almost annoying as you
Yeah it really annoys me too when people decide to prop up on someone else’s car! There was a guy who did it in the last auction video I watched on here too!
