This video not only helps me understand more about two great tractors but also brings useful knowledge about agricultural technology. Great job channel
Appreciate your honest review Mark. I totally agree that tractors today are all high quality. Great Sunday video from you all and music from America!👍🏻🙂
Great video! The farm I work for in southeast Minnesota is almost completely Deere accept for the Case Quadtrac. They demo Deere’s quad from time to time but aren’t tempted to switch. The 580 Case runs primary tillage and pulls a 24 row high speed planter. The Case cab is a little noisier though. The sharp turning radius and visibility are great. The joystick control is super nice once you get use to it. It does have the 36” tracks next to the frame so it can be difficult to clean the mud and corn stalks out on a wet season. Just seems to be a real dependable workhorse and the price is considerably lower for comparable units.
Awesome video Hollywood, great great information, twin turbo, man i bet that joker has some low end juice in it, nice tractor, they might wanna prepare for those tariffs coming lol, praying the grain market comes back up now for the USA farmers, thanks for sharing an I look forward to seeing the next video as always an god bless 🇺🇲✊💪👍🇺🇲
That cab is pretty darn deluxe. Maybe a recliner and move the screens to the roof, and forward camera so you can see where you are going when reclined? Lol!
Mark are you a Libra? You give a fair opinion. I wonder how Versatile or New Holland would compare. Also if Fendt or Claas make articulated track machines how would they fair. Steph still knocking it out of the park with the music.
A CaseIH 645 would be more to the point in comparing the 9X 640.International Harvester? Was bought out by Tenneco in late 1984.One thing that CaseIH has had on their Steigers since 2000 then Deere very stubbornly refuses to match is a all glass cab.Rear camera is a awesome to have.
We run a pair of 620 cases on our farm. We are mostly no-till and they honestly dont get worked all that hard. I have been in a 9620rx but have never ran one. But, just from earlier experiences i do believe the case 620 would pull harder than a 9640rx. That being said, the Case cab is very cheap and crude. The doors from the factory struggle to open or close. The air conditioning is usually hit or miss, and the pro 700 is downright garbage. But, i do find the Case easier to drive. To each his own
Brother spent hundreds of hours this Fall in a 640. Absolutely hated it. Slippage through the roof. Auto Diff stays on constant.. On the ends it rides like a Model A. Waterway it will throw you through the windshield. Unbalanced. Etc Etc. But nothing runs like a Deere
Why don’t you review the 2025 9RX 830? Zero DEF, 160gpm hydraulics, max HP of 967! As one rep explained in that set mode which bumps it to the max HP it is for running the hydraulics as well and can maintain that HP constant.
i really want to sound open minded here i question the need for tracks vs price to replace them and how long they last vs tires here are black top roads are shaped in a way that causes tracks to wear funny and not last as long as tires that is all i have on tracks as for controls red vs green the only thing i do not like is jd hyd controls they tuck the damned things down in the panel when i am doing tillage i should not have to look down to be sure i am moving the right control to raise lower the tillage tool really wish deere would fix that so i could go back to Cummins power i really like that cummins power myself
@@MarkHaugen would be neat to try out tracks on a deere and ih side by side to see what happens not sure what would happen not sure how to test that with deere being different set up on their tracks vs ih i know a farmer that just put USED tracks and boogi wheels was new and dropped like 12 k note this was on a 2 track tractor not a 4 track like you have here
Regardless of brand the new quad tracs are brutes looking back to a 125 horse being a big tractor if you told me we'd have a 778HP 2450 ft lbs articulating tractor with track options I would have said no way but here we are. I just refuse to see these companies shut down and move to Mexico. The new Steiger 715 blew me away seeing it in action as an employee.
If we only had one equipment manufacturer what fun would that be. I like the red just as much as the green. Some ppl run FENDT but I'm not sure what to think about that.
Sounds to me like a commenter that become a Trumper and now can act and be a dumbass because Trump won....Good luck with understanding just how ignorant your being with juan deer
you guys need to look up the right to repair shit that i have seen here and how deere is moving some of its lines to mexico what i am hearing they are in for a world of hurt
You are the best at explaining with the over view exam tractor requires much appreciated
Nice review! You guys are absolutely KILLING IT with the drone music!! 👌💯

Thanks for the tour😊
The one thing that the deere has, it's a game changer, it's more expensive to own and repair.
All depends on what works best for you.
They're all expensive to own and repair that's for sure.
Great video and review, that is such a sweet machine.
Dam good video keep them coming sod buster. I would buy either one
Wow, what a beautiful view at the end and a great song to top it off truly God’s country.
Awesome drone footage Mark
Thanks for including the drone footage. I don’t know if I could drive a tractor today. I think the last one I drove was an 8300.
I like working in the field too much to get autonomous piece of equipment. GPS and guidance is enough for me.
Thanks! Appreciate it.

In the cases with that throttle and all those buttons is awesome. That were Deere could really improve on
They "gave" you a camera so you can see the hitch. Lmao
Great video I have little farm in wales Britain with a 885xl and a 5635 new Holland so red and blue for me old tractors
It all comes down to dealer service!
Nice music at the end!
Haugen is a common last name in Norway. 😊
Forza CASE... E il re dei quadricingoliiii... 😊😊
A lot of stuff is getting pretty comparable. So you need to choose based on minor details, like foot pegs. Dealer support is always a big factor.
You guys just have to try the 9 R 830. This thing is huge and no more Def
It's got an EGR engine, recycles its own exhaust, which I'd not good and not perfect by any means. Pick your poison when it comes to emissions.

Enjoy the music . But how is TH-cam going to take it Are they going to demonetize your video
Another America song ! 1972 vintage ?

Comparing a 595 instead of a 715? 🤔 Not even the new cab

Is it worth 6k to upgrade
I don't know unless you have a need for the newer display you need a G5 to do see and spray.
Tks for sharing. It's not so much as if your a deere farmer or a case farmer.. its going into technology and comfort. Huh?

Who the hell wants to farm with autonomous!! There goes the farming way of life 😢
really ? a foot peg is a game changer
Haha I wasn't serious about that it was nice though.
Yea, what happened to Beau?
Miss Beau
What happened to beu
I was wondering the same thing .

Brother and sister
Quad hands down over JD. Sorry. Plus easier to work on.
Sounds more like a guy trying to justify his overpriced Juan Deere but to each his own
Juan Deere ?
@@MarkHaugen You haven't heard about JD moving to Mexico? Juan is the Spanish version of John.

If they are so overpriced then there must be a lot of stupid farmers who are still buying them all over the world but I know you're talking crap 😅
No way that tractor is close to the Red ones.
But john deere's are junk and cost you a fortune of fixing
You're not wrong, they're all expensive to fix
you guys need to look up the right to repair shit that i have seen here and how deere is moving some of its lines to mexico what i am hearing they are in for a world of hurt
Whats CNH Global going to do?They have more overseas manufacturing than Deere does.
