That "not get wet" sink would be so easy to solve. Get an acrylic panel, cut the holes that you need. On the sides place a 3M industrial strength water resistant Velcro and place the Velcro attachments on the sides of the sink. You can attach it and detach it every time you need to. Done.

it's funny but sad that a lot of 'convenience' products that seem useless like the comfort wipe are actually invented for disabled or elderly people with a limited range of motion, but when they hit the wider market, the price spikes and the average consumer thinks it's useless. in this way, convenience products tend to become inaccessible to disabled or elderly people in need of them. of course, lots of products from this video actually are useless, but things like that product do have a purpose- maybe not for you, but they do have a purpose.
