I agree 100%. Every other Megadeth fan worships the solo from Tornado of Souls, but Lucretia's is easily superior to me. Not saying that Tornado of Souls' solo is bad. OF COURSE NOT, it's legendary. But Lucretia's solo is perfection.

What I like about Lucretia is that it has this weird captivating melodic shredding where everything sounds just perfect and TOS just builds tension up from the very first note to the last second and the pay off is so satisfying.
Megadeth is really great in making music, but sadly, the voice of dave mustaine is really annoying and that's the only thing fucked up the whole great band.

Dude, Ron Thal is playn F-ing crazy. I've known Turn Around from a lot of time and that solo always gives me the "WTH is this" feel (in a positive way). I mean, it starts as an "average" rock song then turns into madness. Also, never heard of Galneryus, they're not half bad. Their name reminds me of some oldschool giant robot japanese anime. As for solos I think are underrated... I'd say "My Last Words" by Megadeth, Iron Maiden's "To Tame a Land" and "The Nomad", White Lion's Transformers theme (from the old animated movie), Falconer's "The Return", Obscura's "Incarnated", Labyrinth's "Lady Lost in Time". Probably other songs but I'll stop here for now.

Yngwie malmsteen's guitar solo in miracle of Life has unbelievable passion incredible speed with awesome melodic tones. It is quite powerful no one seems how to throw passion with arpeggios and scales the way yngwie does it this is one of his best examples. This solo has a great balance between melodic and super speed. No one else sounds like this. Not even close
This list can be made by just any solo by Annihilator’s Jeff Water. He is a top 10 metal guitarist of all times imo, and Annihilator is also a really underrated band
Tales of the Magician is one of my all-time favorite power metal albums, also with some of my favorite guitar solos ever. The band and album aren't well-known in general, but it has some very well written solos on it. Prime Evil and Dark Ritual have some of the best on the album, but the solo after the piano section in Crossing the Last Gate contributes to the story of both the music AND lyrics so seamlessly it is magnificent. And I was pleasantly surprised to see Syu on the list. He's one of my favorite solo writers and has so much awesome and ridiculous stuff like the Angel of Salvation solos, and so on.

While everything is subjective, I only agreed to your list 3 out of 10....in my book, the best solos are the bendy melodic ones (with some breathing space) and occasional technical flurries. Kinda like the Gary Moore /George Lynch /Marty Friedman approach

I kinda think Lucretia is thought of as Marty's second best solo in Megadeth, but as far as the general greatest solo lists, yeah, it's underrated. 10/10 solo, obviously. Loved seeing Disciples of the Watch on here! Any Skolnick is underrated except maybe for Practice What you Preach's solo. I think that one gets some recognition. A cool lost overall. Jeff Loomis himself is widely recognized, but I think the Medicated Nation solo is amazing. The beginning of it after the preceding riff is always super cool to me. Gary Holt's solo in Exodus- Beyond the Pale is really cool. Always loved his tone, and I think he's very underrated as a lead player.

I kinda think Lucretia is thought of as Marty's second best solo in Megadeth, but as far as the general greatest solo lists, yeah, it's underrated. 10/10 solo, obviously. Loved seeing Disciples of the Watch on here! Any Skolnick is underrated except maybe for Practice What you Preach's solo. I think that one gets some recognition. A cool lost overall.
Jeff Loomis himself is widely recognized, but I think the Medicated Nation solo is amazing. The beginning of it after the preceding riff is always super cool to me.
Gary Holt's solo in Exodus- Beyond the Pale is really cool. Always loved his tone, and I think he's very underrated as a lead player.

I was expecting something from micheal schenker (UFO band) because you said it is underrated. It is hard to find his solo in videos that including so many top name lists. So i hope somebody put his solo in underrated videos. He was once an idol to dave mustaine
