This was so helpful for levels. I just have one suggestion: In Baroness Von Bon Bon's last phase, I recomend putting a conveyor belt going towards the castle for ground instead of cloud blocks. It makes it seem more like the castle is moving towards you.
Creative isn’t good; you mean inventive but these aren’t that: You said sub[ ]world, spikes, another area, big Boom Boom, and dice so I disliked the video. Cuphead’s gun is supposed to be permanent; the obvius thing to do was put Mario in a fire clown car. At least those shots don’t fall. The key goomba was a uncanny design and I don’t know why you didn’t put a switch block behind the boss instead with a proper HP counter and damage receptors. There when you lose your fire flowers you wait until you get hit to death. Besides the pixel art mostly casual shallow design and understanding of this game that deserves only 1/10 of the views this video got. Also you need to make the key background transparent.
I have a bit of a "problem" with the Goopy le grande fight. There's a way to make it much easier. In the first phase, waiting for the boss on one side for long enough can cause one of the goomba shoes to die letting you get the other one. Once you have the goomba shoe, you can actually kill the chainchomp in the second phase.
Story time I used to have mario maker 2 but it went bye bye but this Saturday (5/29/21) I get a new copy of it and when I do get it I'm gonna make ALL OF THESE!! Edit:IT CAME!!🤪 Bro dat cwazy

hey, in the original game, if you don't attack the onion in the root pack, he don't will attack you and if you do this, will appear a beetroot in the carrot stage
This was super helpful! However when I remade the Werner Werman fight I used the Super Mario World style for two reasons. Reason one is that the boss fight is going to be in a series of levels that I made themed as Super Mario World. And I don’t have the time to change the game style of all of those. Reason two is that in the original Cuphead game, Katzenwagen (the cat in the final phase) is purple. In the Super Mario World gamestyle, the semisolid platforms (which you used for Katzenwagen) are purple. Therefore, the semisolid platforms are perfect for Katzenwagen. Now you might be wondering about the POW Block mechanism and how it’ll work in a gamestyle other than Super Mario 3D World if there’s no ground-pounding. I fixed that by simply just having the POW Blocks above the character so the character could (I don’t know what it’s called so I’m gonna butcher this in a weird way) headbutt into the bottom of the POW Blocks so they explode, therefore keeping the Muncher mechanism.

I think on phase 3 djimmi the great instead of bloobers on track you could've put 2 red bullet blaster behind him filled with spike trops with wings and the bullet blasters on tracks so it could be more random self note this makes it look worst but work better
