In this talk, Pastor Louie urges listeners to get back in touch with the breath of God-His Spirit. It is breathing IN the truth about God and the actual physical breath that He gives us that ultimately combats the anxiety and depression that ravage our nation. It is in breathing OUT worship and truth that ultimately leads to an offensive attack on the schemes of the Enemy.

2. What is your history with depression? Have you faced seasons of depression or anxiety? Has someone close to you suffered?
3. What are the fears behind the instances or seasons of anxiety you experienced in your life?
4. What are we as human beings supposed to do with feelings? To what extent should we embrace and acknowledge feelings? To what extent should we ignore them?
5. What role does ‘neglect’ play in increasing anxiety?
6. What role does ‘isolation’ play in increasing anxiety?
7. What role does ‘self-focus’ play in increasing anxiety?
8. What role does ‘gratitude’ play in combatting anxiety?
9. What is your response to this talk? What do you want to do differently to embrace God’s peace, which surpasses understanding?
10. If your group is already to a place of transparency, take a moment now and pray for anyone who is in the midst of a storm of anxiety or depression.
This came right on time. I have been going THROUGH it. This is NOT who I am. “Breath of God, COME. Breathe on me. Breathe new life on these dry bones, and let them live!”
Amen! Thanks for doing another talk on anxiety and depression, I have been dealing with this lately, battle after battle, it has taken a toll on Me. But I have Faith that by the Blood of Jesus Christ and The Ruah of God , These bones WILL LIVE! Thanks Passion Church for always delivering the word of God and His message for His Saints!
Today, June 9, 2024 - I am asking for prayer that I can focus on the breath of God. I’m in a very very dry place right now. I am seeking help and need prayer because I’m stumbling with depression and anxiety. Thank you for this word of God today.
Thank you for making this about God stepping in... and not about those that struggle with their mental health not praying enough or not having enough faith. Thank you for also speaking about practical steps people can take.

Thank You, Pastor. Not too many spiritual leaders talking about the topic of anxiety / depression. I myself have struggled from anxiety, Depression and OCD, but the worst of them all is OCD, it’s diabolical.
In any case, thank you for reminding me that God is still there. MY DRY BONES COULD LIVE, BREATHE ON THEM JESUS!
You’re not alone. I also suffer from OCD, anxiety, and depression, though some seasons are especially difficult. I love you, and Jesus loves you. I hope God fills with so much love and that you get to experience it on a deeper level as to heal your broken spirit.

I love ❤ your sermons, given by God. The first two was: they were about the greatness of the universe- the greatness of our God. That changed my outlook on God from before I was fifty, I am eighty now. Your/God's word brought the difference.
A few weeks ago my daughter was taking photos on the seaside. Not aware that she captured a image on a little stone that reminded me of the image of Laminin. I pointed 👉 it out to her.I searched for your videos to show her. Before she had come to Christ, she knows Him. Albeit she had gone through the death of daughter under suspicious circumstances. She had been under such deep depression from which she now recovering.
Glory to God for His healing power.

You have no idea how much I needed this today, am about to go to the Dr to see if there's anything she can do to help with my anxiety medication, as it doesn't seem to be as effective as it was. The sermon and prayer helped give me peace in my mind and spirit, so thanks very much.

Well? I was depressed all of my life. Nothing helped me. Than I found Jesus and now I feel hapiness. I can help somebody to find Jesus, we can pray together - prayer helps.

Quite the contrary, I believe in what God can do. I believe who God is. I expect, trust and have faith in Him so much that I can’t understand why He’s allowing this horror of 6 years continue.
It’s because I know who God is that I’m confused as to why this is still happening. It makes no sense. My eyes and heart are solely on Him, therefore, no, my eyes are only on Him.
I have so many praying for me. I do things when I can’t and don’t have the strength to get up. I call it forced by faith.
How do I explain to you how I’ve been so confused because my eyes and hope, trust and faith is only IN HIM. In Him it’s only me getting out of this morbidity.
I call out to Him, “Have mercy on me Son of David.” He is the only one.
I’ve been under excruciating attack. I know the Word of God intimately. In January 1997 God asked me to memorise scriptures and scriptures and use them as prayer. I have over 40+ people for 26 years, therefore, again my focus is on Him. Only Him.
I’ve tried the breathing. I truly tried. It hasn’t helped me. It’s been very traumatic.
I know. I believe and know what God can do, but still stuck in this pit.
@@annec988 - it’s wrong. It’s so wrong. Jesus came to restore, redeem, all the scriptures I pray and read about his healing, deliverance, etc. it’s just not right according to His word.
It makes no sense. None of it makes sense and that’s wrong, too, because He’s our Father.

I was cured of severe depression with antibiotics by accident. "Breathing out" depression is not helpful unless a person is stressed out about something. Nowhere in the Bible does it say to breathe out depression.
