      @@sportbiketrackgearYou should do a workout or training series. Spending one week of training for the Old Farts and a week of training with the Young Guns

    I probably could use that clutch tool. I have the older lock plier type.

      This thing worked really well and it will work on most any bike. Here is a link to it on our site: www.sportbiketrackgear.com/motion-pro-heavy-duty-clutch-holding-tool/

    With the retainers ( it's the shorter is less slip the taller more slip) spoke to Fred about the top hats and he says shorter top hats has less slip..

    • @sportbiketrackgear

      The shorter the spacer the less pressure the spring will apply to the outer hub. Less pressure = more slip. With that said we use the red spacers in both this and the Ninja 400 clutches. IMO this is the appropriate amount of slip. - Van

    Could you guys make a video on how to install ASV brake and clutch levers. Thanks

      We are not offering ASV at this time so we would not be able to do a video. - Van

    Does the regular Yoyodyne slip noticeably more than an R6 clutch with Y spring trimmed? I noticed there are two versions for the R6, regular slipper and one that apparently slips a lot. Not that I “need” a new clutch, but spending coin on new toys is always fun.

      I have not used the OEM clutch with the mod noted on an R6. What I can tell you FOR SURE is this clutch is 1000% better than the OEM R7 (which I thought was not too bad the first couple of rides). Money well spent on the R7 if you are on the track IMO. - Van

    Would this also fit the MT07 and Tracer 700? They do all have the same CP2 engine..

    • @sportbiketrackgear

      This clutch will also fit the MT-07. Not sure why you would want to use this in the Tracer on the street. - Van

    What grade of kotul oil would you use in a yamaha r6 2008-2016?

    • @sportbiketrackgear

      I would use 10W-40 300V. This is the best oil on the market IMO. We use it on our race bikes and love it. - Van

    Would this be good for a Zx10r when it comes to roll racing or is this strictly an upgrade for track riding

    • @sportbiketrackgear

      This is strictly and upgrade for the track that reduces engine braking at corner entry while downshifting. - Van

    Just curious why not just reduce the engine braking via the tune?

    • @sportbiketrackgear

      You can ease it with a tune but really need the slipper to get the results you need. - Van

    Are there any benefits to using this clutch on a street-only bike (ZX10r)?

    • @sportbiketrackgear

      I would not expect anyone to need a race slipper clutch on the street. Most all of the recent sportbikes are coming with slippers from the factory that are more than enough on the street. - Van

    So... What did you do with the stock clutch?

    • @sportbiketrackgear

      I have the OEM clutch sitting in a box that we take to the track as spare parts in case I have some unforeseen issue with this one. Having ridden with this brand of slipper clutch for years I do not anticipate any issue, still like to be prepared. - Van
