      We think we should get a better camera. The gopro is very useful but it would be nice to have a nicer camera. The problem is that we spent a lot of money on one and it's so hard to use that we don't even use it much. There must be something that is easier to figure out.

    Omar you just kill it with how you quickly and effortlessly show us how to use all this cool equipment. I'm thinking hard about the Ulanzi dual mics and wondering if a)you would use a muff with these and b) if so, do you have a recommendation? Thanks again for your always excellent content.

    Thinking about my camera dying ALWAYS lingers in the back of my mind when I'm filming and tbh it gets in the way of being focused with what I'm recording. You literally saved me the future headaches by introducing the continuous battery source. Thank you so much!

    I found the Ulanzi quick release plates to be a must! I found out about while trying to find a solution to my camera’s battery door being blocked while on a tripod. They were and are you he answer! I’ve bought several more since then. Thanks for bringing the light to company. 👍🏾

    For me, creating TH-cam video seems to be an intimidating process. I always thought one needs to have a huge full frame camera with nice bokeh and RGB lighting. But after watching Think Media videos, especially featuring Omar, I am opened up to the idea of creating TH-cam using my Mini phone, and I happened to have the same Shure MV88. Hence, I uploaded my first proper TH-cam video thanks to Omar. This video also revealed to me a lot of gadgets that I didn't even know existed. Thank you Omar & Think Media teams. Keep on sharing these gems!

    • @DeputatKaktus
      @DeputatKaktus ปีที่แล้ว

      Having all the bokeh and nice cameras and all that - it certainly helps, but only to a point. Beyond that point, it is easy to get lost and obsess over minutiae that nobody else but you will notice. Always remember: „perfect“ is the natural enemy of „good enough“. You know, diminishing returns etc.

    "COME ON SOMEBODY!" Lol. 😄 Love it, Omar! This is an awesome list. Question about the Comica link flex.... Do you know if they have one with 4 XLR inputs?... or would we have to use the Zoom H6 for that many?
    Just curious, as we currently use the Zoom H6 (since it has the ability to hook up 4 mics)... but I love the idea of the link flex.
    Regardless, we'll definitely look at adding a few of these products to our kit... Thanks for sharing! 🔥

    😊😊😊 THIS IS THE EXACT VIDEO I NEEDED TODAY!!! Thank you so much! Hubby and I want to start a video podcast together but the tech side of hooking up my Canon M50 to our two podcasting mics was a huge hurdle. So I reached out to Heather Torres and she answered me with a Think Media video which was amazing!! Then I open TH-cam today and see this video with the same recommendation of the Comica Link Flex (at least I think it is the same!) Will this cable connect my M50 to my two podcast mics? Thanks so much!! Y'all seriously ROCK!! 😊

    The Diety D4 mini is a nice mic but it needs to be close to the subject. I better choice is the Diety V-Mic D3 at $59. It is a true shotgun mic with better rejection of sounds off axis. This allows you to be a bit further away from the mic. For both mics you still need to be close to the mic. For the D4, 18 inches. For the D3, 2-3 feet maximum. Further away than this the mics become more omni in nature picking up sound from all angles. This picks up reverberation from the room. That boxy sound.

So I deleted the video and posted it again to see if the option would appear under the video. The option actually appeared under the video so I thought I everything was in order to post a short today, but I went to check the video one more time to make sure the option was still available but it disappeared😕 Does anyone know why this is happening?

    Be careful with the Ulanzi double wireless mic. From my experience: The mics only work when the receiver is plugged in on the correct side.. Make sure to test it and mark which side is the correct side. The range isn't that good either.. Especially if you're back is to the receiver. Works pretty well when you're in range and facing the receiver.
