I have two cats that used to say the exact same thing at night when they were kittens and wanted to play at night. "We're little Shits. We're little Shits." 🤣🤣🤣
I genuinely thought hearing you sing YMCA was gonna be the highlight to this video, but then you pull out that perfect, "Bye, Billy" and lift it up to the next level. Love you, Muffin.
I actually laughed out loud in the movie theater when Phoebe Cates told the story of her daddy’s death. I was the only one and the usher had a word with me. I still contend it is the funniest part of the movie.
I think they realized after the fact that the story was ludicrous, which is why they had her riff on a President's Day scenario while looking psychotic in the sequel.
I hear you, man. I laughed my ass off for several minutes during the movie Krampus back when it was in theatres. I couldn't stop laughing when the monster toys started attacking people. The whole audience gave me dirty looks almost simultaneously.
Batman poor and dating broke dudes at night? Probably happened when Joel Schumacher took over the franchise. Now I see where Tarantino stole the plot of Inglorious Basterds. He has encyclopedic knowledge of cinema after all.
Gotta say...loved this movie, but will never show it to my son until he gets at least pubescent... Not due to violence or disturbing supernatural biology, but because in the scene where Phoebe Cates tells of her Christmas related trauma, they reveal the one secret you can never reveal to your children until they've pretty much figured it out on their own. Y'all know what I'm talking bout...
Wow! This is imho the best one so far, hitting one ball after the other out of the park without a strike and miss. I have seen about two thirds of MEF's videos and this one struck a special chord. Great one, Jeb!
I remember being a kid and watching this in the theater. At 5:52 it was so cool watching the gremlins sitting in the movie theater just like me. It was a really neat feeling!
Jeb and his Merry Muffins are so knowledgeable and clever I never get all the references. Thanks to all who explain in the comments. If you don't like spoilers don't read the comments. Excellent work. Share and share until this talented man gets the exposure he deserves. (Minds out of gutter, please. Don't want to upset Lady Mama.) smile.
I saw it as an adult and swore I'd never see it again. But this was funny even though I buried the original experience deep within my self-protective subconscious. This was way before I grew callous enough to watch the Walking Dead. But even that show lost me at Lucille. Gross just isn't my thing. But Jeb-e-dia blaming Mama and singing a clever YMCA song is. Good work!
@@Steampunkkids : When he said it, I knew that I'd heard it before, but it took me a while to place it. After that, I watched for other references but didn't find any (other than the Frog Brother, which I'd noticed earlier).
Not gonna lie. Spike and his kids singing along to Hi Ho with the Seven Dwarfs is my favourite part of Gremlins. Unless it's Mrs. "Mean-ass Flo" flying out the window on her souped-up stair lift. I can't decide. 😂
Truly! No shade on the brilliance ofJohn Candy, but Hoyt Axton is a “Jealous Man”… & far from unknown to people who love film & music. Sadly, this certainly diminishes Jeb’s “Southern-credentials”. I still love these videos, though.
I haven't seen the first Gremlins movie a lot of time, but I did the second. For a long time Gremlins 2 was one of my favorite movies. This breakdown was great and can't wait for the sequel (even though I'm months late for the comment.). Cheers from France! 🍻
"John Candy reject" ???? Seriously??? Man, children these days, seems like they don't know anyone born before 1950, unless someone born after 1999 is a fan & mentions them on the Tic-Toc. (SMDH 😑) That's Hoyt Axton, writer of the song 'Joy to the World, ' a 70s hit song for Three Dog Night ("Jeremiah was a bullfrog, was a good friend of mine." The song might've been even better with the name Jebediah, but that ain't my call.), as well as other songs. He also read aloud the book, 'Meanwhile, Back at the Ranch,' by Trinka Hakes Noble, on Reading Rainbow. Educate y'all's self. 😂 Love your work, Muffin.
This movie scared the shiznits out of me when i was a kid lol. But I thought gizmo was cute, my sister named her dog after him when she got older. Still dont want to watch the movies though lol. Ill watch your synopsis on them though! 😂
Ah, Jeb singing YMCA, made the whole show!
He shouldn'ta picked on Billy's fat daddy (Hoyt's a much better singer/song writer,)
That YMCA song was a treat. Laughed so hard I almost cried.
That was awesome lol

This was going on to be my worst Halloween yet, but then this...😂
Thank you Jeb and all the lovely Patron Muffins
"Run away from the Yyyyyyy M C A!". Omg, I'm dyin!
Mama needs to write more jokes, she's great at it!
Jeb gives us "bits" a much needed Halloween treat. Just nuts. Love you Jeb💞💞💞💞
Isn't it weird that in both movies The Gremlins end up at a movie theater? Must be some kind of archetypal theme.
I need you to know how much joy it brings me every time you make a Lost Boys reference. All. All the joy.
YMCA bit is the best
Problem with the no eating after midnight rule. When is it okay for them to eat again? And isn’t it always midnight somewhere?
Exactly.

Gremlins is one of those movies I saw once as a child and swore I'd never see again.

you literally have to pause everytime you laugh so's not to miss a joke. 'but watch it as many times as you have to'
this was the best hallo-christ-ween-mas epidode ever!
I 💜 Jeb! Never fails to put a smile on my face.
Way to go with the Lost Boys reference!!! Ha-ha
At least two.
@@tobybartels8426 At 3:13 I got the “one of the frog brothers” reference. But, where was the other one? I missed it!

Loved the Prince and David Ruffin references!
One of The Frog Brothers... Best reference ever!
😆😆💙
Billy Rosewood!
Wow, small world.
Ewok on redbull. Looks like my shih tzu.
Fundamental movie plot flaw:
If it ain't for sale, don't put it on display!
Anyone else catch the reference to As Good As It Gets?
🤣

I'm actually in the middle of this movie I ran out of snacks 😂

The inventor dad actually wrote Joy to the World and Never Been to Spain.

YAY🥰🥳🥳 GREMLINS!!!!! Thank you Jeb, love ya muffin!
1:27 you would have the best reaction to the movie Fear starring Mark Wahlberg and Reese Witherspoon!
The voices are the best part
Lol thanks so much for another great episode of MEF
Up next: Little shop of Horrors for Plant Parents

I'm really happy you do these. Just sayn.
We now need a full cover of YMCA.
They were spreading holiday fear.
the first time my sitter watched this the power when out. it was like a gremlin was there
Jeb, you definitely should review and make a video on the movie Tombstone. I would love it 😀
Well done 👍 Jeb! 🎃😆☀️🐆
