LOL no joke! We as artists need to remember that even though we may WANT to be more skilled ASAP it takes time to grow and master the skills we need to take out art to the next level. Take your time, challenge yourself, love what you do💕🎨
It has been almost 3 years since i started drawing and i am 14, nobody in my family knows about drawing and stuff so i studied drawing in my own.. but ever since I saw you on TH-cam and watch your vids, you always inspired and motivated me that i can do better and not be too negative about my art and i wanted to thank you because your videos help me very, very much😊😁 im from the Philippines btw 😁❤
OMG 💕 Reading your comment made me so happy!💕 It means a lot to me to know that my videos have been able to help you!💕 Please continue to be a positive person, challenge yourself, and most importantly have fun as you create art!💕🎨 I hope my future videos can continue to help you as you grow as an artist!😊💕
@@MyMangakaLIFE I love your art and your channel! I hope to be as fantastic at art as you are! I've been drawing since i can remember and it brought me so much joy, but as I grow older I can't really get into a headspace where i enjoy drawing as much as i used to. Channels like yours help inspire me to find the joy that i used to have when i would draw! Thank you so much and I wish you all the best.😄
It fascinates me that cities have specialized highschools. Like a whole highschool? Generally revolving around art!? That's amazing! My highschool is very generic and it's tiny and there's only 1 in town. My town that has a population of 3000 and something people. Man.
I feel kind of bad because I improve extremely slowly and even though I try to draw a lot of things. It seems like I don't show any improvement. Especially because I don't really have anyone supporting me as an artist or even as a person. It doesn't bother me most of the time, but there are times when you kind of feel bad for yourself :'3
marshaangel333 aww it's okay. I GURANTEE you that all of that slow improvement means ur brain is taking it's sweet time and really paying attention. As frustrating as it seem at first, TRUST ME, it will be worth it. I know I'm not Mama Mushroom, and I know ur comment was 4 months ago, but I hope this comment helps😃😊
I can relate with the bullying part. I was bullied from kindergarten to the end of high school. I would get beat up, sexually harassed, insulted, stared, ignored by pretty much everyone. I had my passion of Pokemon and digimon that I watched every single day until in third grade when I discovered Naruto and became obsess with anime. Without Naruto, I wouldn't be an artist. I remember wanting to be a mangaka at that time. Then I switched to 2d animator, to art teacher, and now going back to mangaka with my best friend, that I met during those hard times, with also being a self employed artist. Your videos are really helpful and teaches me a lot of things. As I mentioned, my bff and I want to make a manga that we are working on since 4th grade! So watching your videos and learning about your experiences is really admiring and the biggest help we can get! Keep being creative and show us the wae 😍
Since I'm homeschooled, I was never known as the "school" artist- or at least in the original sense. I WAS, however, very well known in my church as an artist. My youth group is very aware that I'm an artist too because I had to ask people if they would be interested in a commissioned art piece to help me go to camp. And now because of it, I have people asking me if I would be willing to commission more pieces. :D I absolutely love your videos SO much. I always feel 100x more creative and positive after I get done watching, and your laugh is incredibly infectious. Thank you for your awesome art tips! ^_^
I started draw anime at the age of 6/7.(didnt know they were called anime at the time. I thought they were just cartoons) And i based my style of dragon ball z and yuyu hakusho.(and some times power rangers) i didnt started drawing manga(comics what i would call them) until i was 13. This age is when i created my first character "Flaria". I use to doodle all over my notes, homework, desk... Just anything i could draw on. And i took a bunch of art classes while in high school. During my late high school years i drew countless of pictures of anime and random stuff and just hanged it in my room...(during my time in high school 9th grade i was going through a deep depression. I was a danger to myself and attempted to kill myself many times. I was alone throughout my High School years) so all i did was draw... It was my escape.) I wanted to go to the art institute or full sail university for character design. Nobody in my family believed in me. So slowly i quit drawing... Ever since then i feel lost... Cause as a child growing up to a young adult that all i did DRAW. I am 26 now an i just began to start to draw again. I love it. I have so many stories i want to draw. So many characters I've create. And when people see my drawing they say i should be a fashion designer. Lol😂😂😂 I love drawing for fun, Not money. I look back at some of my old work and see how far ive come.😊 it makea me happy i am still alive.
God bless you, dear! I'm so sorry to hear that you've gone through so much... I never had thoughts of self harm, but as one diagnosed with OCD (had it all my life) I dealt with stress and anxiety caused by the condition. But I'm so happy you were strong enough to stay in this beautiful world! 💕 I'm so glad I've gotten to speak to you and gotten to know you. I pray you will continue to move forward, work hard, and reach your goals!😄💕🎨 We don't have to be rich off of our art to make a positive impact on the world💕 Just share your story, share your journey, and share your art. There are people like you on earth who need to know it's worth staying here. Be that person to tell them this💕
Im 52 and just starting to learn….for everyone reading this…..don’t worry about how good others are….just have fun….love what you are doing….no matter what it is. 💗😊💕Thanks for your videos, sister💕😊💗
You are my inspiration I'm trying to get better as a artist everyday I wanna have my own TH-cam channel and my own manga and when it becomes popular I hope it becomes anime
I wish you so much luck on your journey as an artist, dear!😄💕 Don't give up! But just focus on your love of art and challenging yourself~ Everything will happen in time💕 +Demond Denteth
Same I feel u so much!! I've only been drawing since 12 years old (15 now) I really want to improve my art so much but it takes so much time to improve Lol
same my dream is to be a mangaka one day and get published in japan i know it's hard but i will still try and hopefully one day i will have my own anime
I was always the "artistic" kid in school, always known for my art and drawing. I remember failing so many classes because I would draw all day instead of listening and doing work, my report cards often had little notes on them like "very artistic, but needs to spend more time participating in class". Kids would always ask me to draw them tattoo designs and everything, I'm sure you know exactly how it is. But the point that I wanted to make was that even though I was considered to be very good by my peers, my art completely PALED in comparison to the works that you've shown from your highschool days. I can't even imagine the praise you must have got. Your work is very impressive and inspirational. I'm feel like I'm too old and set back now to make a go of it with art, being 28 and a drop out with just a GED under my belt (which caused me to drop art entirely for many years), but I feel very happy knowing that someone out there with the same passion I once had, accomplished an old dream of mine and is happy and successful with it. So congratulations, and I wish you the very best in life and your career!
I started drawing when I was 10, now I'm nearly 15 and my art really improved! Mostly because I watched videos from artists like you! You are an awesome person and I hope you keep doing the things you do for a long time! :D
I literaly teared up listening to your story! I'm so glad you had supportive Parents (and Teachers). You're such an inspiring Person, thanks for sharing all this with us!
You are so fucking inspiring!!! I've been reteaching myself how to draw (no one taught me the first time) and your videos have helped me a lot with my one weakness, myself. I was never really confident with my art even though it did get praise from other people. I just always felt it wasn't good enough so I stopped for a long time. Then someone sparked me back into life with making a manga and I remember why I drew in the first place. Drawing let me escape life for a bit and create things the way that I saw them or wanted it to be. I will always strive to be better though. My journey is nowhere near over yet. Thank you Liz!!!
OMG 💕💕💕You're too kind to me, hon!! I'm so grateful that my work and sharing my journey with you can make you feel inspired in any way!!💕💕💕 It can be so hard sometimes but we're artists, you know? This is who we are and we just gadda do what we love! We don't need to be world famous to be happy, but I do feel we want to share what we love with others💕💕💕 So do what you love and share work you're proud of and you'll slowly but surely attract the right people who will appreciate your work💕💕💕 God bless!
I always watch one of your videos before I start drawing. I always get so inspired. I'm so happy I stumbled on your channel. Even though you're a better artist, I think our mindsets are the same, so I really connect to what you say/teach in your videos. For that I thank you so much. ^^
OMG REALLY?!💕💕💕. Feel so humbled that you do that! And I'm so glad you connect to what I say while I teach! I like to believe that we can all learn from each other no matter what our skill level is. You may be better than me on some things and vice versa, or I have more experience with something than someone older than me, so we can each share techniques the other hasn't thought of!💕🎨 The beauty of art LOL
This video made me cry 😭😂 ITS SO INSPIRING ! UR ARE MY INSPIRATION MUSHROOM MAMA I KNOW AM STUDYING TO BE A ILLUSTRATOR ! Thanks to you I founded the passion I wanted in life ,your art channel is so special to me and I literally stop everything and watch your videos when you upload, and rewatch some of your other videos to give me inspiration and happiness when i'm down! I love you and your work and wish you the best and have a nice day ! 😊
You are such a beautiful person! Thank you for teaching and sharing us what you learn. But most importantly for being an inspiration foremost. I wish you more success this year and I hope to hear more of your laughter 👌😁
I really enjoy your enthusiasm. I also loved drawing as a kid but never really got a lot of encouragement. At 62 I decided one day I was going to retire and draw till I died. I spend about 3 to 4 hours a day drawing or painting. I absolutely love it!
Wow! You are a w e s o m e! I love your bright light spirit! Your art is g r e a t and I wish you every great success and praise that you so rightfully deserve! God bless you and yours and shine on! Thank you for sharing your story!
YAAAASH GURL!! I've been stalking ur facebook waiting for this video!! I'm only 5 seconds in and ik its already worth my time! Screw feeding the cat, it can starve for the next 16 minutes! Mah gurl and her masterpieces r my first priority today booboo 😂😂
Omg follow up. I'm 5 minutes in and it got rly sad for a while XD. I hope those boys and girls that bullied u realize wut they have done because u r such an amazing and talented person with skills beyond imagination and a role model for everyone to look up to, whether for drawing or not. I'm sure those kids you helped with bullying still look up to u to this day. Luv ya mah gurl ❤❤
Aaaaaw!! You're so sweet!! I'll never know what happened to any of those kids, but I'm strangely grateful for the horrible experience LOL It made me who I am today!💕 I developed my writing and drawing skills the most during that time, AND made me a stronger person who always wants to help others💕 Guuurl, those were hard times but OMG I'm grateful for the growing in did XD +Ryuu Ichiki
My Mangaka LIFE yasssss gurl 😂😂 keep doin wut ya do best and I'll keep doin wut i do best 😂 putting your vids on repeat. Have an amazing day mah gucci gal
My Mangaka LIFE this was so inspiring to hear your stories, I started drawing when I was 11yrs old and from there I drew from my books, paper, test paper. I went to a famous art school in PR but at that time I was more a gamer than a drawer but thanks to it, I discover anime and saw Kiki which is still my favorite ghibli movie. I went to NYC in Summer 2013 but sadly didnt got to go to the Metropolitan Museum. I really want it to go. Hopefully this summer I can go.
I started art at the same age you did but when I turned 15, I started branching out into the digital age and started writing poetry more than drawing ✍🏼. I became published that way and then experienced some traumatic experiences that threw me into a depression and I played the piano so then I’m 24 GIRL and I missed drawing anime characters and just drawing in general so I started getting into it but again life happens and I got super busy and hard and turned back to poetry. Now I’m 35 and just recently got back into drawing, painting and inking. What a journey but I have to say, you are a YUGE 😂 inspiration for me! Your personality and how you come across literally brightens my day and gives me motivation to keep doing what I love. Thank you 🙏🏼 ♥️ Much Love! Meka 🤩
I started drawing at age 21, so I got a laaaate start, and am often very insecure about my work, however I realize that it's not about the age, it's all about the amount of time and effort you put into your craft, not about how early you started. Watching video's like this always inspire me and remind me of that fact!
I’ve been feeling so down on my art lately. I’m 15 and I love art a lot, I practice hard everyday and have done since I was very young. Although, I didn’t know what to do next on how to improve . I had been lost for awhile, and my motivation was plummeting fast up until now. Your videos always bring me hope and you are such an amazing inspiration. I am in middle school now and I get bullied too haha. But hearing your story makes me so happy and I’m not lost anymore. Thankyou, Lizbeth. ❤️
I used to draw a lot when I was a kid, but as I moved into my teens, I developed anxiety and a strong sense of perfectionism. That made it really hard to do art without getting irrationally angry, tearing things up and burning them. It's only in the last year or so, with the help of skills I learned in therapy, that I've been able to breathe through the anger/anxiety and let it go and just...continue to work on art. And now I can get work on art without getting too angry (just mildly frustrated). I get to enjoy the process of making and sharing art now, which makes me really happy!
" Dinosaur is Bae " 😂😂😂 you're right ~ I m obsessed with dinosaur too since I was a first grader... . And there's nothing I don't know about them since I want to be a paleontology in the future... But now I'm a 3D animations student and a freelance digital and traditional illustrator ~
Aahh... I am really sick today and can't sleep, even though it's already 6:50 am. I felt really down but MAMA COMES TO THE RESCUE, like always. Your bubbly personality always makes me feel better. Love you booboo
I started around 14 or 15. I look back in my art and I drew lots of fan art or recreated drawings that existed. I really didn't start to find my "style" until around this past year or so, and that's a decade. Art is fun, and the great thing about it is you can never outgrow it. unlike sports or runway models who have limited time to be what they love, an artist can always be an artist.
My friend was an good drawer and I tried drawing but he made fun of me but since I’ve been watching ur videos u inspired me to keep trying to draw no matter what
Thank you so much for making this!! This is really motivating, and inspirational!! I would love to draw everyday, and to find time for it!! Love it, I love you, and I can't thank you enough for helping me with motivation!! I can't wait to get started, so I'm going to go and get started and make a manga that I've been wanting to start but didn't know how for ages. Again, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!!
This was really inspirational and just what I needed after ignoring my art for a month. It has really broadened my mind and really driven into me about expanding my drawing subjects and drawing different things so that I can absorb that knowledge and be able to use it for future projects. Thank you so much for sharing all this with us!
I really started getting serious about my art 2 years ago, in my 11 th grade, around the same time when I discovered you! You were such an inspiration at that time and still are. You are a bundle of positive energy and good vibes❤️. Hope you know that you played a major part in my life as an artist!
Ngl I am super jealous that your school and family were supportive. My school and family peers were very against artistic creativity. There was some logic that if a child is creative and expresses it, it keeps them from maturing and thus was heavily discouraged. I experienced a similar logic from people in foster care, so I had to be careful about my creativity, but now at least I have a couple people around me that think differently ^_^. Awesome story!
I'm so sorry to hear that people didn't support you! Believe me, I had people trying to discourage me, but it was mostly when I was older and getting more serious about wanting to pursue art as a career. Do your hardest and go to university if you can. Give yourselves as many opportunities to succeed💕 Many blessings to you, my dear!😄💕 +Pixel Penguin
Each of your videos influences me a lot. Thank you for all the videos you made just to teach us, show us, inspired us, and motivate us to always continue what we are good at even they are lots of people who will be on your way. You rock girl, one of the most inspiring and awesome youtuber and a mangaka I've known. Thank you so much. Thanks for sharing your art journey. I enjoy it a lot even if it almost makes me cry.
I am really glad I found this video, it's so inspiring to see the progress and the journey. I have so many times at points thinking of thinking up art , and thinking people are just more talented than me, I don't have the skills to make art into a career. And just because I was taking art classes and doing nothing on my own is really holding me back. I see that learning is just a long curve as it is with any skill. And dedication to the craft can go a long way, this new year I'm going to force myself out of my shell and just draw. Thank you for what you do, I'm always learning so much. This is a wake up call to get serious to make art.
I started when I was one, I was told lol, and my art continues to improve, I'm 16 and in the 9th Grade! I'm dedicating myself everyday and miraculously, haven't had a real, you know, CHANCE to paint or color like you, I've read one of your Sacred manga/comic and WOW It's amazing, I think we all went through that Akira Toriyama phase, because now, I've stopped because you know I've been drawing it since 4th grade and as a Manga collector, I would like to be a publisher and a good artist in general, this has motivated me completely, like, I look up to you lol. Thanks for the motivation Mrs. Lisa.
Loved hearing your story. I used to draw a lot, but slowed down after my mom passed away in 2016. Also now I have a 5 month old so I have no time for it currently. Your art is great, but you are also great as a person.
My friend was the one who made me love art! I didn’t use to like it and thought it was boring, but it was either playing with barbies by myself or draw with her... and after a while I actually started to enjoy it c: it really started picking up around the time I got my own computer and internet! Watching sketchbook tours and people drawing these amazing things... it inspired me so much! I drew every day! And no matter how ugly I thought my art was, my friends especially my best friend who was waaaayyyy better than me told me that they were good and stuff c: so I never stopped :D and now I have all these ideas in my head that I’m trying to get on paper, stories and such c: so thank you friend for forcing me to love art xD and learning me to swim... I love to swim...
This inspired me so much by this i was bullied to in school to about my looks, art, and weight i realize now that i became stronger than ever before and it only fueled my passion for art and to became a video game artist thank u senpaii for showing and uploading this video
My jaw was dropped when you started talking about your experience starting in jr high and how anime changed your life and how DBZ was the anime, because THAT'S FREAKING ME!! Ok, ok, to be honest, I started art a bit later in life, I've actually only been drawing for real since 2014 (I always had an affinity towards the arts though), and it was because of DBZ! It was the first anime I watched and just like you, I admired Akira Toriyama so much that I decided I wanted to be a mangaka as well. And just like you I also realized pretty early on that I didn't need to draw just like Akira Toriyama and that I could create my own characters and style and worlds. I was in a very dark place at the time, and DBZ gave me this dream, and that dream helped me so much, I finally had something of my own that I could peruse and strive for that no one could take away from me. Since then I've been practicing non-stop with artwork, doing studies, life drawing, and really just trying to learn anything and everything I can. And recently even started to share what I've learned to others so that I can help others with their journey as well. It sounds so silly to say that 'anime changed my life' but it's so funny how life works that way. This video is so inspiring to me because I can see someone who had such similar experiences as I did and also has the job that I hope to have someday. Thank you for sharing this with us.
I was the school artiest, and i was teasted for it😥. I druw things a 5th grader shouldn't draw, yet alone think of.😞 All my art teahers never like me,i do something else then the work they toll me to do. 7th grade was ok the art teaher like me(god bless her soul) ,she said that i would grow up to be a famous artiest. I'm now doing online school,i still draw my horrible, bloody, art and very happy with my art (sometimes 😅) i can practice and improve my art.💜💛
i only started drawing around the time when i was already 2 years old... and i still kept drawing until now... but like seriously, I REALLY IDOLIZE YOU 😊😊💕💕 you are soooo goooood at drawing!! even when you were little! im being honest here!! 💕
OMG, I literally cried when you told us about the bullies. I hate the people who bullied you😠. Although, you are such an inspiration what do I say. You're just amazing! When you said that you get two hours of drawing everyday in art school, I was like WOW THAT IS AMAZING!! I rarely get time to draw everyday though I do draw everyday. The teachers give us so much homework and we have a test every week for a different subject. So it's irritating. Our school doesn't have bullies. Like very rarely, so I'm happy and I'm happy for you too. Thank you for your inspirational story.😊😊😊😊 And last but not least, I started anime when I was 11 and I'm 12 now and I have improved in a year.
I think I discovered your channel about a year ago, maybe? I’m not sure, but it was a while ago. Back then, I had pretty much given up on art as a career due to all the stereotypes surrounding artists not making any money. But now I’m in the process of creating the first chapter of my very own manga! I know this sounds cheesy or whatnot, but I wanted the thank you for your videos and encouragement💕It means a lot to us fans.
i did art all the time growing up. i drew on anything i could get my hand on. including tests i took. so much so, that my teachers got mad and told me "you will never get anywhere in life by drawing." so, i gave up all the way until middle school. i was in a crap place and had no real outlet, until my family took a 2 day trip to missouri, and i found a comic book shop. it was my first time realizing that people got paid to draw all day, and it made me excited to draw again. i begged my mom and dad for a sketch book and art supplies for christmas, so they gave me the ones my dad had in college, when he was trying to find a job after the military. i spent almost half my own money on how to draw books, art supplies, digital art tools, sketch books, you name it and kept drawing almost every day to this day. i even ran a webtoon for 2 years to encourage myself to keep improving, and learn to draw faster. now, i'm at a crossroads of deciding if i'm good enough to aim to be a published author knowing i am still lacking in some areas, or to hold off and keep improving for the time being.
It may not mean much now, but I can I promise that there are people who would care if you were lost. You are an absolute treasure. I am so sorry you had to endure such horrid treatment, but I am glad that you made it through and became such a great person. Love you Mama!
OMG You're too kind!!😢💕💕💕 G9d bless you for being so kind to me ad for saying such beautiful things! I'm so humbled by this, you don't even know!💕💕💕 I want so much to help others who may not have the support to make it through some hard ties in their lives, and I hope is some little way my videos are helping people. I'd be so happy if that were the case! +gen101394
My Mangaka LIFE First of, yeeeeeeee! Mah Manga Mama replied!!!!! Had to get that out lol I truly believe that you are succeeding in helping people. I do have a lot of support from my father (rest of my family is at least not negative about it), but you definitely inspire me to push myself to improve and develop my own skill. If angels are real, you are one. P.s. Velociraptors are my favorite dino too! With or without feathers XP
Omg I was the student artist smh. I always felt embarrassed about doing things cos you know, insecurities. I started at around 8 with mark crilley tutorials (sorry if I butchered that last name). I used to draw a bunch of naruto scenes that I liked and the screenshots. (I have my progress on my channel) I started trying the “basics” with istebraks videos and she hasn’t failed me yet. I’m still reaching my potential. I always like to draw things from life and it mesmerized me when I saw that you started drawing “realistically” in 7th or 8th grade!!!! I’m a freshman in high school and I am in art programs and it’s not been useful tbh. Only history stuff. I could’ve just enrolled in other classes. Oh well at least my teacher helps me get out of my comfort zone with her media. Anyways, thank you for this amazing video!!!!
OMG Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us, dear! ❤️❤️❤️ Yeah, art classes at school sometimes don't help as much as we think they will =__= (hence why I said in this video you commented under that you don't learn anything in art school. It just helps you by giving you projects that will allow you to experiment a bit and explore new mediums). But you seem very driven so I know you'll reach your artistic goals!❤️❤️❤️ In the near future I wanted to make videos on drawing from life and how to use that to improve your manga/comics art! I hope to see you in the comments again, dear! God bless!❤️❤️❤️
thank you sooo much for this video i really felt bad before because i didn't have my own style and when i look at others artwork i always thought that their artworks are so perfect but now i will start to improve and just enjoy the journey like you said so thank you !
Yassss girl I think the oldest drawing I still have is from when I was 8... That’s probably because I didn’t keep my drawings before But I do now and it helps me see how my style has developed which makes me sooo proud
OMG YOU'RE SO SWEET!! I COULD JUST CRY!!♡♡♡ I'm so grateful to have made it out of that time in my life in one piece... it has changed me forever as a person but I'm grateful I went through it because it made me who I am. And I meet people all the time who have dealt with bullying and I feel like I'm able to help them through those hard times♡ if I can help others than its worth it♡
Omg You Are Truly Amazing And An Inspiration Thank You For Sharing Your Story And Art With The World You Are Truly Brave Intelligent And A Beautiful Soul ✊✊
OMG I've been wanting to do that for eeeever!!😄 I went to one in November but haven't been able to edit the footage but I will soon!! Also, I have a big show coming this Spring that I'll be sure to record for you guys!!😜💕💕💕
In past I was like "I haven't my art styl yet... every drawing looks different...." but now after 9 years I have it! ... It came for me just like from nothing :) That was really surprising! .) Thanks for your videos! Every time I watch your chanel it makes me happy :) THANKS! (Sorry for my english)
My love and respect has just shot wayyyyy up. It's really intimidating though, I abandoned comics which I used to do about eight years ago. Now I really want to make a manga series and I don't even know anymore. You really make it look so easy.
Omg thanks for posting this I've been waiting 😊😊😊 (your art style is so good and also your old art of course) and lol 6:34 😊 but that drawing is actually really good
Hi! I was commenting this to say thanks for posting this motivational video. For a long time I would draw not for pleasure but just for serious improving. So that would lead me for studying different areas of art (such as architecture, scenery, anatomy etc) and not take the pleasure into drawing it because my mind was so focused on improving. I got really bored yesterday and decided to see what was on your playlist and I saw motivation. I saw this video and got interested on what was your your art journey into becoming a professional mangaka artist. I personally want to be one when I get older but a lot of my family would quickly disapprove on me. Anyway- I went on with the video and seen this and watched the whole thing. This quickly reminded me as of why I started art and why I love drawing with it. So I give you my thanks coming from an aspiring 13 year old artist.
Your story is so inspiring I'm so happy I found your Channel because you make me want to draw all day everyday I can't thank you enough you are definitely one of my favorite artist ❤❤❤❤❤❤ your videos always make me so happy thank you
I'm someone who restart art when become an adult. When I was a kid I did some like you but not that passionate, just drawing some manga with friends but not even thinking to be an artist. And around the time I was in higthschool and bachelor degree, I completly abandon art because I think I can't to it. It's not until I was in master degree (that not relate to art lol) that I know that I CAN'T abandon art, art is calling me ! It's like I have a hole or something in me so I've decided to resart art again, mainly in manga style. I resart from the begnging all of the basic and your chanel, your arts really help me to feel good to be a nerd even in adult lol THANK YOU ! :)
I was drawing since I was little. I barely decided to take it seriously like 3 years ago so now I'm here. I was obsessed with dinosaurs for a long time too xD
You are so cute! Thank you for sharing your life story. I loved art in school but I had no idea you could make a career out of it so I abandoned it when I went to college. After 10 years I've come back to it and it's giving me life!
To be honest, I feel so motivated just by hearing you said inspirational words.💖 Makes me emotional for some reason in a good way. It makes feel determined to draw although, I have school tasks to do and sometimes I get stressed from school. Therefore, I needed a inspirational video to inspire me to continue and improve my drawing skills. I look forward in seeing more of your artwork. I'm so excited!😊 *I'm worried what I wrote here may confuse you or may took it in a different interpretation. Also I'm nervous because it's my first time commented on a video and usually I don't comment on videos because I thought it's only necessary if I wanted to or not*
I look back on my artistic career and I gotta be honest, I love where it's taken me. I was actually introduced to anime before I started really drawing. My awesome bff helped me learn about anatomy and proportions. She's an awesome artist.
Love your artwork! You are truly an inspiration to us artists who are just starting out. I watch your vids and get inspired to do better with my art. 😀😀😀 Also, I can relate to the whole being bullied at school thing. I've gone through the same thing: Underestimated and misunderstood by simple minded people who lack vision. But you have the last laugh. You're doing for a living what you love to do while they have to put their dreams on the back burner. My goal is to have a career in art as well.
This was super exciting to see in my feed... honestly have never seen an old art video like this and I love it. Love that you redrew something, shared old pictures of you at the time and such sweet stories about your life I not only was inspired but feel like I've connected with you on a very personal level since our younger lives are pretty similar. I now want to motivate myself to be better in everything I do because if you could do it then I can too :) thank you for sharing and for being a light in all our lives! Lots of love and hope this year is just as full of amazing content and art from you 😘💞
Oh my goodness💕💕💕 you're gonna make me cry!!💕💕💕God bless you!! I'm so honored and humbled that you feel more connected to me after watching this video! I was honestly worried about sharing ldnpicd 9f myself LOL Was sure someone would tease me, but I really wanted to share my journey and shown that I'm a normal person like all of you! Just a normal kid who loves to draw and that ANYONE can create their own style and improve with hard work (and lots f love for art😄💕) I'll be sending you good vibes, booboo!! Please d your best and reach for all your goals and dreams!! It's all within reach, but it may take a few jumps to reach: it's all part of the journey as an artist😄 +Rebecca Hicks
I'm an previous viewer who subscribed to you on my other channel. I have been known as being creative ever since I was little, I started watching cartoons then moved onto Pokemon/ Mew Mew Power (I didn't know they were even called anime) I started drawing anime back in 2010 and still to this day! I am still not happy with my style. So I am going to be focusing more on anatomy, trying to change my style at the moment. though I love watching your videos and art! Also we've all been through tough times, though got to stay positive!
Lizbeth thank you so much for creating this video! Hearing you talk and seeing your beautiful artwork has reminded me why it is I draw. Not only do I want to improve, but I forgot the main reason I started drawing and that is that its FUN. Somewhere along the way I forgot what it was to have fun creating art because I was too focused on the skill set part of it. Love you mom!! Also you and your boo are cute af~ XD
I've also been drawing almost my whole life. My story is no where near as impressive as yours but I realize every artist's journey is different too. I took art in high school and loved it (Rest in peace, Mrs. Braun♡♡♡). When I went to community college I took every art class I could get my hands on. And I am so sorry about the bullying...I was verbally bullied as a kid to the point where I went home at the end of the day crying whenever it happened (plus that year my father passed away so I was very vulnerable). You are so strong, girl...and so beautiful, I am so glad we both have God in our lives♡ I know I would be very lost if not for God and for my art.
Not sure if my story is "impressive" 😂 Your story is similar to mine, dear! LOL Same here. I always went home crying because of the bullying 😢 (so sorry for your loss, dear... God rest his soul) You are too kind to me, dear. From what I've read I believe you're a strong individual and I pray you will continue to thrive!💕 God bless!💕
This was definitley a video i needed to see today. I've been feeling so down and been so hard on myself and my art for just not being "good enough" for my age, and you continue to inspire me and help me with videos like this. Thank You :3
I'm so grateful sharing this video was able to encourage you! Being an artist is a blessing and a curse sometimes LOL We want to be the best we can be but get caught up with cm paring ourselves to others. You saw my childhood art LOL but I didn't care! I was working hard and LOVED what drawing!💕 That's all that mattered back then and is all that matters to me now😄💕 Practice, don't run away from a challenge, and always, ALWAYS remember why you draw: because you love to!💕 +Coffee Cat
Thank you so much for making this video. It really resonated with me because I've been drawing since I could hold a pencil and when I was younger I drew all the time. I was bullied too but I found anime in elementary school and that just inspired me further. I feel like I lost sight of why I do art and the motivation to improve but this video really makes me want to get myself back in the drawing saddle and try to get better. Keep making amazing videos and amazing art!!
OMG when ever you feel lost when it comes to your art, always remember why you love to draw and create art. This will always bring you back! Life gets crazy and our passion for art can be put on the back burner, but deep down you'll ALWAYS be an artist💕🎨 I'm so happy this video meant something to you, and I hope you'll continue to love your creative side😄💕
"It's a marathon, not a sprint"
Just let that sink in
LOL no joke! We as artists need to remember that even though we may WANT to be more skilled ASAP it takes time to grow and master the skills we need to take out art to the next level. Take your time, challenge yourself, love what you do💕🎨
That is not a Profound quote

Man.
Noa Lenora Art next year (9th grade) I'm going to an art school
I've been watching your videos for a while now and when I you mentioned having God, it really lifted up my day! Hope you're doing well!
I absolutely love your videos SO much.

But just focus on your love of art and challenging yourself~ Everything will happen in time💕

You're an inspiration! The art community is blessed to have someone so kind and someone so passionate about what they love.
“Enjoy the journey”, I really needed to hear that..
My Mangaka LIFE The fact that you yourself took the time to reply to my comment means so very much to me. Thank you again mavourneen!!!
OMG💕 God bless you, dear! Thank you so much for all of your kind wishes!💕 I pray for your happiness and success as well!💕
I really enjoy your enthusiasm. I also loved drawing as a kid but never really got a lot of encouragement. At 62 I decided one day I was going to retire and draw till I died. I spend about 3 to 4 hours a day drawing or painting. I absolutely love it!
This is very inspiring and gets me even more motivated to complete and continue my manga that I have been working on.
Ohh.. The bullying stories .. Im so sorry 😢
But.. Would you like to make a video about this?

My Mangaka LIFE this was so inspiring to hear your stories, I started drawing when I was 11yrs old and from there I drew from my books, paper, test paper. I went to a famous art school in PR but at that time I was more a gamer than a drawer but thanks to it, I discover anime and saw Kiki which is still my favorite ghibli movie.
I went to NYC in Summer 2013 but sadly didnt got to go to the Metropolitan Museum. I really want it to go. Hopefully this summer I can go.

😂😂😂💕 This is freaking precious!! You're so sweet!

Fellow max pfp 😂
I've now been drawing for 3 years... and I already have had 7 art books and you can really see the improvements
Bless you. You are a wonderful artist and have such a positive, radiant personality. Thank you for sharing your art, and stories with us!
Aaaaw!! So sorry to hear you're sick!😫 I hope you'll feel better soon and so glad my video could make you happy!😊💕
My Mangaka LIFE naaawww. Darling is so cute
My friend was an good drawer and I tried drawing but he made fun of me but since I’ve been watching ur videos u inspired me to keep trying to draw no matter what
your mom started the doodle challenge XD
Give yourselves as many opportunities to succeed💕 Many blessings to you, my dear!😄💕

Thank you for posting yet another amazing video . Best birthday present ever!!!!😍❤❤❤❤😍
"that should be exciting for you"
this is honestly one of my favorite videos of yours. so wholesome and inspiring:)
I've been watching her videos all morning waiting for this video... FINALLY!!!
I LOVE YOU SO MUCH PLEASE NEVER STOP MAKING VIDEOS AND BEING SUCH A GODDESS
You are my inspiration ever since I watched one of your videos I just became addicted to your awesome skills!👩🎨✏🖌
Man.. you're literally describing my childhood... not even kidding..
I love watching your videos it help's with my art skills 😄 thanks girl 👍
Your videos make me so happy! I watch it and I feel like laughing and smiling with you!

I'm now doing online school,i still draw my horrible, bloody, art and very happy with my art (sometimes 😅) i can practice and improve my art.💜💛
Mayya B keep up the spirit
i only started drawing around the time when i was already 2 years old... and i still kept drawing until now... but like seriously, I REALLY IDOLIZE YOU 😊😊💕💕 you are soooo goooood at drawing!! even when you were little! im being honest here!!

My Mangaka LIFE
First of, yeeeeeeee! Mah Manga Mama replied!!!!! Had to get that out lol
I truly believe that you are succeeding in helping people.
That’s probably because I didn’t keep my drawings before
But I do now and it helps me see how my style has developed which makes me sooo proud
Thank God you soldiered through all that bullying. I don't know what us fans could've done without you. 😭😭😭
OMG YOU'RE SO SWEET!! I COULD JUST CRY!!♡♡♡ I'm so grateful to have made it out of that time in my life in one piece... it has changed me forever as a person but I'm grateful I went through it because it made me who I am. And I meet people all the time who have dealt with bullying and I feel like I'm able to help them through those hard times♡ if I can help others than its worth it♡
@@MyMangakaLIFE you're a really strong person! Btw, u mentioned in one of your vids that you are bi? guess what? I'M BI TOO!! 🌈🌈🌈🌈

I LOVE YOUR JOURNEY VERY INSPIRATION
☺️💖 OMG You’re sooo sweet!!
Yesss finally a video of my favourite TH-camr!! Who was waiting till there was a video on the channel?
OMG!!💕💕💕 You're gonna make me cry, booboo!!😂😂😂 My goodness, I'm so humbled by this! Bless you, dear!💕💕💕 #LoveMahBabies
+say hey
You are so cute! Thank you for sharing your life story. I loved art in school but I had no idea you could make a career out of it so I abandoned it when I went to college. After 10 years I've come back to it and it's giving me life!
To be honest, I feel so motivated just by hearing you said inspirational words.💖 Makes me emotional for some reason in a good way.
It makes feel determined to draw although, I have school tasks to do and sometimes I get stressed from school. Therefore, I needed a inspirational video to inspire me to continue and improve my drawing skills.
I look forward in seeing more of your artwork. I'm so excited!😊
*I'm worried what I wrote here may confuse you or may took it in a different interpretation. Also I'm nervous because it's my first time commented on a video and usually I don't comment on videos because I thought it's only necessary if I wanted to or not*
Much needed words of wisdom! ❤️ thank you!
I love your personality! You're awesome.
Tell us about your love story 😂
😂😂😂 OMG one day I'll DEFINITELY share the story of how we met with you guys! It's a pretty funny story and I hope he'll join me in that video 💕
I'm so happy you became a TH-camr!😆😆 Whenever I need inspiration I always come here^^
This was super exciting to see in my feed... honestly have never seen an old art video like this and I love it.
It's all within reach, but it may take a few jumps to reach: it's all part of the journey as an artist😄

This reminds me of what my favorite art teacher said to me.
He said "Never stop learning".
I'm an previous viewer who subscribed to you on my other channel.
I have been known as being creative ever since I was little, I started watching cartoons then moved onto
Pokemon/ Mew Mew Power (I didn't know they were even called anime)
I started drawing anime back in 2010 and still to this day!
I am still not happy with my style. So I am going to be focusing more on anatomy, trying to change my style
at the moment. though I love watching your videos and art!
I absolutely love you and your videos! This really makes me want to draw even more.
LOL
Same here. I always went home crying because of the bullying 😢 (so sorry for your loss, dear... God rest his soul) You are too kind to me, dear. From what I've read I believe you're a strong individual and I pray you will continue to thrive!💕 God bless!💕
i started at 7 and am now 13! OMG I LOVE YOUR WORK!! TEACH ME YOUR WAYS!!!!
YYAAAASSS VELOCIRAPTORSS!!
VELOCIRAPTORS ALL DAY, BOOBOO!!💕😂😂😂
This was definitley a video i needed to see today. I've been feeling so down and been so hard on myself and my art for just not being "good enough" for my age, and you continue to inspire me and help me with videos like this. Thank You :3
I'm so grateful sharing this video was able to encourage you! Being an artist is a blessing and a curse sometimes LOL We want to be the best we can be but get caught up with cm paring ourselves to others. You saw my childhood art LOL but I didn't care! I was working hard and LOVED what drawing!💕 That's all that mattered back then and is all that matters to me now😄💕 Practice, don't run away from a challenge, and always, ALWAYS remember why you draw: because you love to!💕
+Coffee Cat
