Interesting video and timely for me, as I have to redo the webbing on my settee and chairs. Again! The first time I noticed the cuts in the foam and yes, mine doesn't have canvas on it. So it's a shame you didn't show how you fitted the canvas. I would be concerned that if the canvas was stapled to the frame the edges would tear as it doesn't stretch. Also what level of tension should be applied to the webbing before stapling it?
@chrisnagy thanks for viewing and the comment. You pull the elastic webbing as tight as you can. but insure you have elastic webbing for seat not back.and don't skimp on it. Webbing comes in different stretch %. As for the canvas, if used over the correct webbing or springs. Wear too canvas should be minimal. But nothing lasts forever

Hi, what % webbing is used? 45? And is the cavas stapled to the frame too?
@trekcer for a seat ide use 10% stretch. And yes the canvas needs to be stapled too the frame.
