Jen's just pregnant, it's not an affliction! I'm 36+4 weeks pregnant and am perfectly capable of doing almost everything I could before aside from tie my shoelaces. I don't think people need to worry about every little thing Jennifer does! Love the videos Jen x
+Blue Moon of course you can worry but I'm just saying it's a little over dramatic to panic over every little thing she does. My baby is head down, ready to come out now and aside from tying my shoelaces there's still very little that I am not capable of. I think she knows what she can manage :)

You did a fabulous job. Don't let anyone sway you from having 2 nurseries. It will make life easier for both of you not having to lug everything over so that baby has a place. I think you are one lucky girl to have a home away from home and I know that baby will be one lucky little girl also. Your video are great, keep them coming!!!
It is always good to purge when we can. Thanks so much for sharing that with us. As far as people worrying about the ladder I do believe that many women like myself while pregnant walked up steps, stairs, ladders and all of that and were just fine. lol I guess a person could trip and fall on the floor while just walking? Worrying about everything is what will cause the most trouble. :) Thanks Jen. Hugs.

I just want to caution you against using the wooden board in the baby's room if it uses magnets. I work in healthcare and have heard horror stories of babies and children swallowing small magnets. They can really injury their organs and intestines. I know you would absolutely watch her, but I always think better be safe than sorry:) I know you will be an amazing mom! Congrats by the way!
I've been purging as well. Gotten rid of quite a bit. Like you, I haven't touched any of my husband's things. I need to do a book purge, which I'm totally dreading! Your videos have definitely helped me be able to purge some things. Thank you so much for sharing.
Have you thought about giving the art supplies to Emily and Grace to use? They're always replaceable and available, so if Grace used them now then it wouldn't really impact on your daughter at all, it would also get rid of the problem of having to store them for years before your daughter can use them, freeing up space for the things you need presently rather than sometime in the future

I love watching your videos. Just for fyi my sister is due with a baby girl Very early in the year as well. Her due date is Jan 3rd. I definitely have the purging bug. I have a very small house with very minimal storage and no pantry in the kitchen. If you have suggestions for organization that would be amazing. You are absolutely glowing already. Cant wait to see how the nursery turns out and your ideas and inspiration for it.

As a long time viewer, I think I would love to see more Jen/PNL vlogs on what it takes to decide where to put what - you have a lot of "things", always seem to be impeccably cared for - where do you put it all? Knowing you, I'm sure you have a very organized process. I think a lot of us who aren't born with the organizing gene would love a vlog on your thought process when storing extras. I have been cleaning out children's clothing and toys. We have a huge consignment sale twice a year in our community. I like that I get rid of stuff and make some money in the process.
You have definitely put me in a purging mood as well! :) My fiance and I often travel to his parent's Beach Home, so we always have sunscreen! Be careful keeping it more than a year, it spoils quickly once it is opened!

Im not a mom yet (I'm only fifteen ahah) but I have a little brother and I know he loves when i read books for him in the baths, you can buy some books with a waterproof material i don't know if you know about them but they are great. The only thing is that it's hard to find some that have an actual story in them, usually I find some for 8$ and they only have 4 pages and one word on each page! So not worth it!! But I recommend it if your child can't sit still during a story when she is older (like my brother) bc in the bath they listen more (well that's how it was with my brother and sister)

Your makeup looks nice in this video, makes you look very glowing. Should you be climbing that ladder while you're pregnant? Sounds risky. Just wondering.
I totally get where Jen is coming from. I continued to be as active as I had ever been whilst pregnant. We know our boundaries. Yes I was up and down ladders dusting cobwebs off high ceilings until 7 and a half months pregnant. I had a history of being fit, strong and well balanced. Yes your centre of gravity shifts; but if you move slower and with a little more caution, anything can be done if need be. Load bearing is a myth in inducing prem labour. Think of the many times that mothers haul around toddlers on their hips, juggling a domestic job, and still pregnant without any drama. You just have to know "how to" lift. Come on ladies, - if your pregnancy is coming along smoothly there's no reason to stop being active - let's not be so "Victorian" and keep pregnant women bedridden!! If anything, it has been proven that women who continue to stay fit and exercise through a pregnancy have a better chance of an easier natural labour.
Do people really think she's not being careful on the ladder? Come on guys she's not stupid. I know most of you have good intentions but it can be hurtful for people to assume you aren't putting your child first. She can decide what is right for her.

It is not that no one has concern for her. I do for sure. It is just that how far does a person carry worry? I feel it is better to let her know how I managed ladders and steps without worrying all the time. I guess I care for her mental well being as well as physical. They are both important. Who said anything about banning concern?

Our house needs a major purge but it's so hard to get people on board. They know it needs to get done but it's always "no we can still use that!" Or "no I still want that" and it just gets discouraging. Not trying to get rid of personal things but things we legitimately we don't need or use anymore. I kind of want to get them all on board. :(
Hi Jen ! Just curious, is your new baby going to have her own nursery or will you be using the same one as Grace ? I hope I'm right in recalling that you set up and decorated a nursery there for Grace too. Looking great ! :)
+Tracy Walden I'm assuming Grace still uses the room she was given in Utah and still uses her crib as a toddler bed. Jen and Don's baby will have her own nursery that is adjoined to their room with a door in between so she can be close. Jens already started buying furniture for the Utah nursery! :)
