Damn. No matter what form it's in or when you last saw it, that heart felt plea from Vegeta is one of the most emotional scenes in all of DBZ to me. Always hits home.

I said one of not the most. Case in point, a scene I find more emotional than this one is, specifically in the show as games typically skip a lot of the parts, Vegeta's actions and speech leading up to Final Explosion on Majin Buu and (a lot of media drop this part which is too bad because it lessens the emotional weight) Krillin shouting Vegeta's name. Before he does it, Vegeta asks Piccolo if his soul will go to where Kakarot's soul is (an endearing question for those that get why Vegeta would ask that) and Piccolo basically says no, your soul is too tainted, you are going to hell. And Vegeta accepts this and does his plan anyway! Badass. Even people today are still disappointed Vegeta's Final Explosion didn't kill Buu. Why? Because the scene was so powerful, it carried so much emotional weight and history of Vegeta's character to the point people didn't consider him an official good guy till this moment. I can go on and on but don't want to make people read an essay lol but the summary is, that is a scene I consider more powerful than this. If you have any, feel free to share.

Darío Stone when I first played I noticed this as well and I think it fits the scene more because it shows goku is a warrior but it still hurts him to kill a strong opponent
Noone would ever understand the feels nowadays of Saturday morning animu and new episodes of dbz that took seconds to finish but felt like months before it aired.
This is the best Dragon Ball game I ever seen. Graphic good, story mode good, fighting styles good. People who dislike the game have bad taste or they have not play many DBZ game.
Bt3 had better animations? What brand of cr**k are you smoking..lol. Bt 3 didn't even have cut scenes, Bt2 was even better than 3, but they had the same stances and facial expressions in most scenes..
Bt 3 was amazing but it lacked story detail greatly. Dbz Kakarot sticks closely to the manga and is more detailed than any other dbz game, the perfect game for newbies that have seen Super but know nothing about Dbz. Bt3 would have you confused at times its more of a fighting game, Rpg isnt supposed to be just about fighting thats where Dbz Kakarot is superior in many ways, 40 minutes boss fight with Frieza, thats a lot like the anime
For me Frieza is one of the best villains. He's a pure villain, he hates Goku because of WHAT he is, not WHO he is. The others hate him because he's so legendary.
I feel like these Frieza fights demonstrate what makes this game so good. Because it's a single player game, they don't have to balance every fighter against the others. Who you fight as a player can be tailored to be very different from the last, and most of the enemies have counters to the old "knock them away, charge, smack them with a super, repeat" strategy that made beating any computer opponent in the past DBZ games easy.

This video got a like just because of Vegeta's scene. To see him break down to tears and finally humble himself to ask for help is absolutely heartwrenching. Vegeta has always been my favorite character and his story arc is just one hell of a ride. They completely captured the nostalgia in this game no doubt.

Oh man! As a DBZ fan for many years, I’m so excited by this fresh storyline! I wonder what will happen next as I’ve never played the Frieza saga before!
We might all know the story back and forth, able to quote any significant scene (and some not so significant ones) from any dub at a moment's notice, including the ever-famous abridged version, and whistle the soundtrack from the shows through the entire gameplay... that doesn't dismiss the fact that this is the best game adaptation thusfar.
MrWereverforever that game is overrated as fuck, the large roster is the only thing going for it but that’s ruined by the fact that every character handles the same.
Hot Take: Daman Mills is the best voice actor the English cast has ever seen. Unlike a lot of the other actors, you can tell he's giving 100% with each line.
Chris Ayres is still the better Frieza, but Daman Mills certainly does a good job, he and Christopher Sabat are probably the only ones in the game who are actually trying.
I played this while also playing Undefeatable from Sonic Frontiers in the background and this made it 100 times better. And I accidentally synced it near perfectly. When Frieza said "Very well" at 32:14, the bass really dropped and the fight REALLY began. Dragon Ball + Sonic Frontiers = Perfection.
Anyone notice how when Goku was talking about Vegeta at the beginning he said that he hated him. It was really cool for me as so many people say Goku never actually hates anyone he fights

There's at least 5 such scenes they completely threw out of this game for no apparent reason. And I mean that, since there are some far less impactful scenes that they did actually include instead, so like wtf.

I agree that Goku and Freeza will destroy Jotaro or DIO, but not Giorno, so by that logic, Giorno vs Diavolo is way better than Goku vs Freeza.

This video got a like just because of Vegeta's scene. To see him break down to tears and finally humble himself to ask for help is absolutely heartwrenching. Vegeta has always been my favorite character and his story arc is just one hell of a ride. They completely captured the nostalgia in this game no doubt.

Oh man! As a DBZ fan for many years, I’m so excited by this fresh storyline! I wonder what will happen next as I’ve never played the Frieza saga before!
We might all know the story back and forth, able to quote any significant scene (and some not so significant ones) from any dub at a moment's notice, including the ever-famous abridged version, and whistle the soundtrack from the shows through the entire gameplay... that doesn't dismiss the fact that this is the best game adaptation thusfar.

Hot Take: Daman Mills is the best voice actor the English cast has ever seen. Unlike a lot of the other actors, you can tell he's giving 100% with each line.
Chris Ayres is still the better Frieza, but Daman Mills certainly does a good job, he and Christopher Sabat are probably the only ones in the game who are actually trying.

I played this while also playing Undefeatable from Sonic Frontiers in the background and this made it 100 times better. And I accidentally synced it near perfectly. When Frieza said "Very well" at 32:14, the bass really dropped and the fight REALLY began.
