The Lomond Hills are deceptive - mere nipples on the skyline when viewed from Edinburgh but fulsome paps when you get close up! You managed more riding than I did on East Lomond, when I carried up pretty much all the way from Falkland (heavy old MTB) - a good workout. If you missed it, the descent of Glen Vale is worth going back for - delightful.

Aw man. I wish you had a local with you. You would have been taking clockwise instead. Heading up munduff and bishop hill first, down into john knox pulpit, then along and up west and finish on east. Its all ridable bar the hike on to east and west. So much less hiking involved. Great video 👍👍

Haha I wish I had a local with me on most of my rides - for guiding and pronouncing places! I guess I will just have to revisit and do it the right way!

@@RustyRidesGravel Definitely, Clockwise is so much better. I've gave you a follow on strava so if your ever back in the area you'll have a few possible routes to follow 👍

Might have been easier on an MTB. Would be interested to see the pulpit rock party

Yeah for sure a mountain bike would have smashed that loop.
