Pinarello always had "cheaper" bikes in its portfolio, Gan, Paris, Prince. So that's not the new aspect here. It's a "cheaper" bike with Dogma geometry. So they do what the big brands are doing already for years.
I dont see why anyone would buy the x1 x3 and f5 models, they are too expensive for their groupset (similar specced bike from Canyon is half the price)

A lot of people think being able to buy/pay for something expensive means that YOU CAN AFFORD IT but often times that affording comes from using credit and NOT debit/direct funds or wads of cash. This is the easiest way to know if you're financially strong. If you're making a purchase and paying it directly from your funds and it doesn't burden you financially then you can afford it. If you're using your credit to pay for it then that just mean you can pay for it overtime so YOU CAN'T AFFORD IT. Most people CAN'T afford a car or a home BUT THEY CAN PAY FOR IT, right? Its funny when you look at it this way. I would say that most of us wouldn't want to pay +3k for a road bike if we're not professionals because it's just not wise financially due to our commitment and only people who are well off can "AFFORD" to do so. If it's pocket change you wouldn't care, right? Being able to afford expensive things and pay for expensive things are two separate things.🧐

At the moment I own a pinarrelo dogma team sky Paris reubaux edition with the small rear shock it is a very nice bike and extremely smooth on the hills it is kitted out with full durarace group set and carbon fiber wheels I personally think it is most comparable to the F9 but it cost a lot more 😂
This had been a trend for many many years, bike company have a top tier, and then there will be lower tiers of the exact same geometry for cheaper tags. Was thinking Pinarello wants to be different or premium, that only the top tier gets its own geometry, and every tier has their corresponding geometry. But realistically, if I only want that racy geometry of Dogma F, but can’t afford it, I wouldn’t buy a Prince or Gan, because they are different animals! Wise move Pina, given the decline in the industry! But curious to see if they are still able to maintain their quality for those cheaper models.
Cheaper is relative, the bike looks beautiful to me and I’m sure the carbon wheels are better than the wheels on any of my other bikes. The issue is not the tyres but rather am I worthy of such an awesome bike.
You'd be better of buying a dogma f frame. I don't understand how you are calling these cheap. I have a Paris and love it. These prices are getting out of control. The only reason I bought the Paris is because prices keep going up. I'll buy a dogma frame and when time allows have it built up
The colourways are either boring or too busy, for my taste. That you have to upgrade wheels and tires is just standard with almost every bike in almost every price range, and I rather have cheap stuff destined for landfill than expensive stuff. I wonder why with these builds they miss their most solvent target group - by not providing a top tier endurance bike. Because when you can afford a Pinarello, you need some money, are most likely a bit older and most likely less flexible. I at least am happy to have bought a Prince FX last year, which is a bit higher in the front than the Dogma. And having it built from a frameset, much cheaper and completly to my taste, omitting landfill at all.
The price point i can get the FILANTE SLR top end bike. Both italian....But but but....at this price point please let the consumer to test the bike before purchased.
I have a Prince and love the ride and performance. The F Series does not really look much better or desirable for me. The components are better on the Prince I ride. However, I do recognize the layers Pinarello is making to play off the Dogma. For me, I am staying with the Prince. . .

How have we come to this? a decent ultegra di2 bike costs like a small car , 8000$US and above, and I am not talking about Pinarello only , also most bike brands prices are causing decent bikes become out of reach for many people with these prices, even Canyon becomes on the pricey side taking shipping costs and local taxes, and don't tell me pandemic because this is history now...shame.
@@bernardo9202 What makes no sense? A S-Works Tarmac SL7 costs 15k EUR, same as Dogma. Specialized Tarmac SL7 with SRAM Force AXS costs 9.200 EUR, about as the F7 with Ultegra Di2. So, there is no reason to claim the Tarmac offers are more worthwile. But none of them is affordable by any means.
