Fat is not what has made America/UK fat - it is the lies spread by big-food and self-righteous so-called scientists who were only concerned with building a rep.

Enjoy. You won't be able to tell the difference from traditional mayonnaise.
Why get rid of the yolks, they have all the vitamins. Don't believe they increase cholesterol. Dietary Cholesterol doesn't increase total cholesterol. Your liver make 3000 mgs of Cholesterol daily if you don't eat enough in your diet. Don't believe me? Start watching videos on eggs from Real Doctors. I've spent 7 years watching health videos on TH-cam, what I learned help me lose over 80 lbs. at 70 years old, and at 70 I don't look a day over 45 years old, although I have a baby face, I still get carded if I bought alcohol but I don't touch the stuff.
Great recipe, thanks. As a carnivore, i would change out the olive oil for liquid beef tallow, but keep the mustard (a rare condiment i still use). I would also use a little extra ACV to cut back on the lime a bit. A little dirty carnivore, but very negligible. Thanks again.

Made this today with a twist (I didn’t have any Greek yogurt on hand so I subbed the same amount of cottage cheese & used the jalapeño cream cheese I had on hand)…. Ended up being my lunch and dinner…. Laid on some romaine lettuce and draped some shaved smoked turkey breast over the top…. Me and the kids all loved it!
I did 8 oz each of cream cheese and sour cream. Added 1 tablespoon lemon juice (or half and half with white vinegar.) You can salt a bit if you want, white pepper, if you like. Zip it through a mixer - I add 1 packet of multi-collegen just for good measure. It's awesome, and not just for a mayo replacement.
If you want a great tasting mayonnaise with great nutritional value, just mix some boiled egges with olive oil and mustard. Tastes just like mayo, but healthier and lots of protein.
An aioli is a sauce made from emulsified garlic and olive oil. It has nothing to do with mayo. This is not an aioli. For some reason the term has been used incorrectly for flavored mayo
@@Exercise4CheatMeals You should try this Skyroli recipe I recently made: 450g Skyr (11% protein, 0% fat, 4% carbs (from lactose)). 20g Raw garlic (spanish variety, remove the 'germ' (its bitter)) 50g olive oil 1-2g Salt 1. Peel the garlic cloves, slice in half, remove the 'germ' to reduce bitterness. 2. Place in a mortar and pestle, add a pinch of salt and smash until smooth, get a good forearm workout. 3. Slowly add in oil, tiny amount first then slowly add the rest, smash more, more good.. You should get something that looks something like a mayo but more 'gummy'. 4. Remove it from the pestle and mix it into the Skyr with a whisk, it should remain quite thick and creamy but it will not be fatty. 5. Add into a plastic container for storage. Raw garlic is good for regulating blood pressure and will make your PP work better. What is Skyr? It's a cheese product masquerading as a yoghurt made from skimmed milk, naturally high in protein, low in carbs and very low in fat.
The full fat version of your Greek yogurt is less tangy. I use it mixed with milk in my coffee (using a frother to blend) i use the to make ranch with added seasonings, i even add it to milk for pudding. So yummy and versatile with out the tang.
What are your thoughts on using blended cottage cheese as a mayo replacement? I've been using that as my mayo replacement for chicken salad (shredded chicken, onion, and celery) with really good results. For the blended cottage cheese I've tried different fat percentages but didn't notice enough difference to make higher fat worth it so I just use fat free. Looking forward to trying this hack and comparing especially if it does better on sandwiches!
One of my favourite meals you'd need to try, is Spinach and about 2 eggs worth of egg whites that are pan fried, around 3-4 heaped spoonfuls of cottage cheese, combine it all with some diced Turkey bacon and about a tablespoon of Nando's spicy peri peri sauce or regular hot sauce. It makes a huge bowl, and works out to around 600 calories if you use Turkey bacon, but it's super filling and super high in protein while having a very low fat content and by God does it taste phenomenal.
I just made this! I ate some immediately on some thin sliced powerseed bread with lettuce. It really does scratch that itch of a BLT. I probably won't be making it again because it's pretty expensive. Center cut bacon was $12 on sale.. $5 for yogurt $2 for tomato $7 for cream cheese. So you're looking at $26 for some spread. Most of the time I get the yogurt and mix with garlic salt and pepper. Then add some salsa and reduced fat cheddar cheese. Works great as a dip! Just no bacon flavor.
Thumbs up for the Vince Carter jersey! Played basketball with him when he was a kid at our local park. When he was around 10 years old, he told me he was going to be in the NBA. I believed he could..... but had no idea he would be a super star.

so for just a mayo replacement it's just 450g of yogurt and 100g of 1/3 fat cream cheese? I'm thinking of making a fry sauce recipe with that + pickle juice + sugar free ketchup to give my kids a healthier option for air fried fries
I usually sub cabbage for places lettuce wilts, so I'd give that a shot. Might increase the yogurt/cream cheese to keep it dipish texture and not like raw latke batter or something.

One advantage I'd think with using the pre cooked bacon would be more accurate macro profile. With making your own, the amount of fat from bacon is going to depend on how much you render it down. Maybe someone could speak to how significant the difference would actually be? I know you can render most of the fat out of bacon with just a few minutes difference

As a non-pig eater the nearest I have found so far is another meat product, namely Pastrami which I now slice finely and fry in either avocado oil (Chosen Foods - a naturally refined oil with high smoke point) or I do use Ghee and/or beef/lamb dripping..... But for a veggie you need to think what bacon offers to these recipes - it is really a bit of 'umami' - and so soya sauce and mushrooms would be candidates if it were not for the colour and potential too strong flavours (maybe a light soya?). Personally I think roasted garlic would give something to it as would the likes of 'celery salt' or 'season-all' (produced by McOrmicks/Schwartz) although cheaper alternatives can be found. Whilst on the subject of soya sauce I buy Kikkoman because there is a reason for the price difference versus other brands such as 'Blue Dragon' or 'Amoy'.... just look at the protein content which is 10g per 100ml in Kikkoman when cheaper brands will be 3g or less - so they have more wheat and/or sugar in the recipe. Personally I won't tolerate these cheap (usually Chinese) rip-offs of what should be a very fine and beneficial addition to our food.
I hold out hope that one day. Somehow. You make some sort of protein potato chip. I don’t know if it’s possible, but I hold out hope. I mean if quest can make their chips taste like a damn taco, it’s gotta be doable, right? I need someone on the inside at their factory.
Even the major brands’ “olive oil” varieties still have soybean oil. If you aren’t optimizing protein into every condiment, then some “natural” brands may include only healthier oils.
ok so 2 things. 1. i dont like bacon or tomatoes so i will make this with just the greek yogurt and cream cheese 2. do you want to be my trainer and accountability partner? if so. how do i reach out to you
Problem is that Greek yogurt has 5 grams of carbohydrates per serving while mayo being all fat does not. A better way to approach this is to make your own mayo with avocado oil, egg and a little salt, lemon juice and Dijon mustard. Immersion blender and 60 seconds later you have a clean mayo that has no seed oils or carbohydrates for those of us concerned with blood sugar/insulin management.
This looks nice. I'm going to make it. But I'm under no illusion that it's going to make me think I'm actually eating mayonnaise. Though I do have hope that I won't care.

For the halal gang what would be a good substitute for bacon
Mayonnaise almost always has soybean oil, which is all the reason a fitness enthusiast should avoid it
Even the major brands’ “olive oil” varieties still have soybean oil. If you aren’t optimizing protein into every condiment, then some “natural” brands may include only healthier oils.
@@username00009 I use chosen brand Mayo, and that's only for deviled eggs
Everything with bacon tastes better.
Could a person chop up jalapeños?
Of course. There are no rules in the kitchen.
The problem is i don’t have access to low fat cream cheese
Hellman's lighter than light mayo is the winner!!!
ok so 2 things.
1. i dont like bacon or tomatoes so i will make this with just the greek yogurt and cream cheese
2. do you want to be my trainer and accountability partner? if so. how do i reach out to you
Problem is that Greek yogurt has 5 grams of carbohydrates per serving while mayo being all fat does not. A better way to approach this is to make your own mayo with avocado oil, egg and a little salt, lemon juice and Dijon mustard. Immersion blender and 60 seconds later you have a clean mayo that has no seed oils or carbohydrates for those of us concerned with blood sugar/insulin management.
how did they manage to make mayo with eggs but without protein
Theres so little of it, its less than a gram per serving so they put 0 on the label.
This looks nice. I'm going to make it. But I'm under no illusion that it's going to make me think I'm actually eating mayonnaise. Though I do have hope that I won't care.
Sh*t.... I just realized you could use smoked duck or sausage in this.
